Glacier Blue. 
The Chevrolet Motor Company was formed in 1911.
The Camaro was introduced as competition for Ford's pony car, the Mustang, the Mustang, introduced in 1964 had been a huge success.
The first generation Camaro was built from 1967-69, a 2+2 seat, 2 door coupe or convertible, it shared its platform and components with the other GM pony car, the Firebird.
In 1969, the Camaro got all new sheet metal, except the hood and trunk lid, the grille got a distinctive V shape, the headlights inset.
Three packages were available on the base Camaro;
The RS appearance package, it got hidden headlights, simulated rear fender louvers and body mouldings.
The SS performance package got the 350 or 396 V8, better suspension, special striping, 396 cars got chrome hood inserts.
The race ready Z28 performance package, with solid lifter 302 V8, 4 speed and disc brakes, it was designed to compete in the SCCA Trans Am Series
Engines; 140hp 230 and 155hp 250 6 cyls or 210hp 327 V8, 255 and 300hp 350 V8, 325hp 396 V8 and 290hp Z28 302 V8.
The 425hp 427 was only offered through specific dealers, as a replacement for the factory-supplied 396 V8 either the COPO 9561 solid lifter L72 (around 1000made) or the COPO 9560 aluminium  ZL-1 (Just 69 made)
