🖼️1971 Ford Torino GT Sports Roof

The Ford Torino was built from 1968-76. 
Styling for the 1970-71 Torino was completely redesigned to a more coke bottle style with bulging rear quarters. 
In 1971 the grilles got a centre division and a hideaway headlamp option on all cars except the Cobra. The Cobra continued to use the same grille as used in 1970. 
Base model was the Torino, available in 4 door Sedan and Wagon 
Mid spec was the Torino 500, 4 door Sedan, 2 door hardtop Coupe, 2 door Sportsroof and Wagon
Top, the Torino Brougham, cloth trim and optional concealed headlights, available in 2 and 4 door Hardtops and Squire Wagon.
The sports models were the GT, available in 2 door Sportsroof and Convertible, standard with V8, hood scoop and full width honeycomb effect tail lights, optional was the concealed headlights and reflective laser stripes on the side.
And the high performance Cobra, with hood latches, black hood and grille, only available in 2 door Sportsroof, a few less luxuries, standard with 351, (429 option) and 4 speed.
Engines; 155hp 250 6 cyl, 220hp 302, 300hp 351 V8s also 360hp 429 V8 on the Cobra, 370hp on Cobra Jet and 375hp on Super Cobra Jet.
