Ferrari is an Italian luxury sports car manufacturer founded by Enzo Ferrari in 1939. The Ferrari 308 was built from 1975-85, it replaced the Dino 246 GT and GTS. The 308 was a transverse mid-engined, rear-wheel drive two-seater. The first model introduced in 1975 was the GTB with 255hp 2.9 V8 The Targa top version, the GTS, introduced in 1977 The 1982-85 GTSi and GTBi Quattrovalve version of the 308, came with Bosch K-Jetronic mechanical fuel injection, it also received double the valves. This 4-valve per cylinder car (hence the name Quatrovalvole) restored the horsepower a bit to 240hp after it had been decreased to 214 on the GTBi in order to reduce emissions. Just like the other cars in the range, the GTSi Quatrovalvole came with very little differences setting it apart from the previous model. Rims and vents were mostly the biggest change.
