🖼️1991 Renault Clio RL

I'm so pleased I finally managed to spot one of the "holy grail" Renault Clios! Early H reg Clios seem to be so hard to come across these days. it's also less common as it's lower spec than most survivors of this age. I like the look of the black bumpers and those interesting steel wheels. The colour also seems to be a lesser seen yellow- rather faded in this case. Hard to think it's 23 years old now! Sales of the Clio in the UK started in March 1991, and this one's May '91 registered, so fairly early on. It could well be OAP owned judging by the condition. I still see lots of the later Clios, but the first generation aren't easy spots any more. There can't be too many H plates around now. 'UL' is a central London plate- very close to where I spotted it (South London). The vehicle details for H538 YUL are: Date of Liability 01 08 2014 Date of First Registration 07 05 1991 Year of Manufacture 1991 Cylinder Capacity (cc) 1171cc CO₂ Emissions Not Available Fuel Type PETROL Export Marker N Vehicle Status Licence Not Due Vehicle Colour YELLOW Vehicle Type Approval Not Available
