On top sits a 2.65L supercharger, with a clutch that never decouples, encouraging endless boost in the manifold. I had the opportunity to try out the GT500 on some curvy Nevada roads, as well as on a drag strip, and a race track. On top of this, I had discussions with Ford Mustang chief engineer, GT500 chief engineer, and a cooling systems/aero engineer for the GT500.
