Abarth s'est occupé de la Fiat 124 Spider pour lui donner un look très sportif associé à un 1.4 Multiair turbo de 170 chevaux synonyme d'un 0 à 100 km/h abattu en 6,8 secondes. Abarth n'aura pas attendu longtemps avant de dégainer sa version musclée de la 124 Spider. Fiat lui avait réservé une première mondiale en novembre dernier dans le cadre du Salon de Los Angeles. Abarth transfigure l'allure de ce modèle en lui greffant des boucliers sportifs et un capot noir. Posée sur des jantes de 17 pouces renfermant des freins Brembo, cette 124 Spider arbore au niveau de la poupe un petit aileron et deux doubles sorties d'échappement.
