What makes the 507 different from a regular C63 AMG? *Correction: I said the brakes are ceramic compound but Mercedes calls them "the AMG Compound braking system" which is a two-piece disc (aluminum hub w/ steel disc) and a different pad material. Engine: M156 6.2 liter 507HP @ 6800 (Base car had 450, P31 had 480, this has 507) 450LB-FT @ 5200 Trans: 7-speed automatic torque converter Weight: 3900 Weight balance: 53/47, also better than the RS5. Wheel base is 3” shorter than a new C63. Struts in front, multilink rear Steering ratio: 2.6 lock to lock. BRAKES: 6-piston front / 4 piston rear. 14.4” front, 14.2 rear.
