| Description | During a free practice day, ahead of the 2019 Dix Mille Tours du Castellet racing weekend by Peter Auto, I had the great chance to see, record and put an action camera inside a real endurance legend: the Corvette C5.R. This one in particular is chassis C5R-002 and it was built at the very end of 1998, ready to be unleashed in the 1999 season, during which it was powered by a 6.0 V8 engine. In 2000 the engine was changed with a Katech LS1 427 7.0 engine mated to a Hewland 5-speed racing manual transmission. Watch it in action around Circuit Paul Ricard, driven by Olivier and Xavier Galant, for a few brief sessions.
