| Description | The FXX is based on the supercar Enzo from which it retains some technology. The developments on this prototype were focused on increasing the power output of the engine, reducing the gearbox shifting time and increasing the efficiency of the braking system where new pads were matched with the carbon fiber ceramic composite discs found on the Enzo. During the course of the years, Ferrari introduced the Evoluzione package mainly focused on reducing drag and increasing the overall aerodynamic coefficient of the car. Ferrari built 30 units of which 29 were sold to clients and 1 was allocated to Michael Schumacher when he retired from racing in 2006. |
