The 16M Scuderia is a Limited Edition, Track Special, open top roadster built to celebrate Ferrari's 16th F1 Constructors World Championship in 2008. In 2004, Ferrari built the Challenge Stradale, an stripped out, street legal track oriented vehicle based off the Ferrrari 360 Modena. When the 360 Modena was replaced by the F430, Ferrari continued tradition and built the F430 Scuderia coupe. The 16M Scuderia is a convertible version of the F430 Scuderia. The 16M is powered by a4.3L V8 that produces 503hp and 347 lb-ft of torque. The Ferrari F430 Spider has 490hp. The 16M weighs 3200 pounds, about 200 pounds fewer than a Ferrari F430 Spider and 200 more pounds than the Ferrari F430 Scuderia Coupe. At time of production, the 16M was the fastest Ferrari open top roadster around Fiorano's test track.
