| Description | Ferrari is an Italian luxury sports car manufacturer founded by Enzo Ferrari in 1939. The Ferrari 348 was built from 1989-94, it succeeded the 328 and was replaced by the F355. It used a longitudinally fitted engine and a transverse gearbox, a first for Ferrari, which previously used transverse engines and longitudinal transmission. From 1989-92 available was the 348 TB (Transversale Berlinetta) Coupe or 348 TS (Transversale Spider) Targa The 348 was refreshed in 1993, now the 348 GTB Coupe and 348 GTS Spider, they received a new grille, rear chrome Cavallino, body-coloured lower skirts and trunk lid, as well as more power. 348 GTS engine; 320hp 3400cc V8 |
