It had 3 studded snow tires on it, dried out seals in the carb., and mouse nest complete with dead mouse in the back of the driver's seat. I bought a used door for the Corolla for $50 painted it and put it on myself.

Chrysler Museum . I had missed a couple other opportunities with the WPC Club and others to get into the museum, after it had closed to the public. I did not want to regret missing this last chance to see all of the vehicles before being spread out to other facilities. I trekked from Western Minnesota to Eastern Michigan during Winter Storm Decima. I missed the worst parts of the storm, but still had to endure the aftermath winds, sub zero temperatures and a lake effect snow storm.

The trip was difficult, but well worth it. I got to see several Chrysler Corporation concept and show cars that I had only seen pictures of before. There were several clever interactive displays demonstrating various innovations over the years.
Since it was the last chance, I duplicated several shots using different camera settings to see what produced better results. I wish I had invested in a strobe light diffuser for all of those indoor pictures. I have not had much experience or success in the past with indoor car images.

1986 Ford Sierra RS Cosworth (11969677923)-
A surprise find, as I've been wanting to find one of these outside a show environment for ages. This one is actually currently on SORN which is interesting. I did look virtually spotless, but it was found parked outside an MOT testing centre. I imagine this is worth a huge amount these days, and I hope it's well protected, as this wasn't situated in the nicest place. This seems to be a colour loads of these end up in. I love this early shape of Sierra, but they've become very hard to find. The plate is probably personalised- "WTF" but is a D reg. Fantastic looking beasts, I think.

The vehicle details for D115 WTF are:

Date of First Registration 17 12 1986 Year of Manufacture 1986 Cylinder Capacity (cc) 1993cc CO₂ Emissions Not Available Fuel Type PETROL Export Marker N Vehicle Status SORN in place Vehicle Colour BLUE
Vehicle Type Approval Not Available

1981 Holden Commodore 1.9 SL (VC) (36350894806)-
A very clean, original VC in a rather unloved spec - the 1.9 litre 4 cylinder 'Starfire' powered SL with the manual box. This one has actually done over 333k despite appearances.
Currently bid up to $1710. Didn't see the auction close on this one but I doubt it passed $3,000.

1967 AC Cobra Mk III 427 S-C (15966188467)-
AC, an English company, started building the Ace in 1953 with the Bristol 6 cyl engine, when production of this engine ceased in 1961, they used the 2600cc Ford Zephyr engine but with alloy head and triple weber carbs, this proved unreliable so went to Carroll Shelby in America and then started using Ford V8s. . So the first AC Cobra, the Mk I, had the 260 cu in Ford V8, 75 were made and in 1963 a further 51 were built with the 289 The 1963-65 Mk II got rack and pinion steering, and the 289 V8, 528 were made To become more competitive with the Corvette, the 1965-67 Mk III got the big block 427 cu in Ford V8, a new chassis, coil suspension all round, wider fenders and wider radiator opening. 300 were made with the 427 (27 narrow fender 289s were also built) All but 31 cars were used for racing, the remaining 31 cars were detuned and fitted with wind screens for street use. This car is one of them, called S/C for semi-competition, an original example can currently sell for 1.5 million, making it one of the most valuable Cobra variants Ford and Shelby pulled out in 1967, AC kept building cars for a few more years
Many companys world wide have been making relicas of this popular Roadster ever since.

Ferrari 166 MM Barchetta side view-
After the very early 166 Spyder Corsa, which use cycle-fendered bodywork, Carozzeria Touring designed a small, taut streamlined body for the 166 chassis. This car was dubbed the "Barchetta", or "little boat"# Tommy Lee, a wealthy West Coast automotive enthusiast who had owned a number of exotic European cars, ordered this Barchetta which had been shown at the Turin Auto Show in 1948#
This was the first Ferrari in the United States!

1996 Toyota Paseo (4604108374)-
Another one I had seen before, but never had the chance to snap - this time I realised it has US specs. The front left amber lens has been swapped, and since I'd never seen the other side with the actual US spec lense, I never even noticed!

As a side note, the interior of this one looked incredibly bad, the seats have to be so uncomfortable... They seemed so small... not to mention the materials used.
1996 plate from Madrid but seen in Santander (Cantabria).

SEAT Malaga Injection (22340943953)-
Barcelona, Spain.

The next 6 pictures are a bit special for me, as I'd never seen a R11 Turbo, Ronda Crono or a Malaga in my life. The three of them were very high on my 'pray to see' list while in Spain and Portugal and I was able to see all three in the space of a 5min walk around an outer suburb of Barcelona!

Not only that, I also got to do it with a now good friend, Alex or 'Alpus', who I managed to meet up with while he too was in Barcelona. Alex is the fist ever 'Flickr' member I've met in person and it seemed so strange to have to do it over the other side of the world from where I am.
Apologies Alex for uploading these special finds before you had the chance!! Haha!
