RC was supposed to replace the mighty IS-F. IS-F is my favourite Lexus of all times. In the world of downsizing and speed cameras a normally aspirated V8 under the bonnet is a real treat. I canβt recall another car, which would drift so easily. But you can have Lexus RC with a V8 as well, and as Ben Collins proved to me, Lexus RC-F is still easy-peasy to drift, even if it weighs around 1800 kg. Thatβs Renault Espace and Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe territory. BMW M4 is about 200 kg lighter.
