Melkus RS 1000
Car Model VariantThe "Melkus RS 1000" is a 2-door coupe which was built between 1969 and 1973. It is equipped with a 992 ccm Inline3 otto engine which produces up to 70 PS (51.5 kW) and 118 Nm of torque. The car weighs 690 kg, giving it a power-to-weight ratio of 9.86 kg/PS. Melkus states a sprint value of 13.4 s from 0 to 100 km/h and claims a top speed of 158 km/h . The engine is attached to a 5-speed manual gearbox, which routes the power to the rear wheels. In total, 101 units of this variant of the RS 1000 were built.
