The "Mercedes-Benz 300 SL (W198)" is a 2-door coupe which was built between 1954 and 1957. It is equipped with a 2996 ccm Inline6 otto engine which produces up to 215 PS (158.1 kW) and 274 Nm of torque. The car weighs 1295 kg, giving it a power-to-weight ratio of 6.02 kg/PS. Mercedes-Benz states a sprint value of 10 s from 0 to 100 km/h and claims a top speed of 260 km/h . The engine is attached to a 4-speed manual gearbox, which routes the power to the rear wheels. In total, 1,400 units of this variant of the 300 SL were built.
