| Description | Finally, I was able to see and film the new 2020 Cupra Leon Competición TCR in action, not one but five examples. We are on the Imola circuit during the final race of the TCR championship organized by ACI Racing Weekend. Four models lined-up by Team Girasole, one of which driven by the strong Spanish pilot Mikel Azcona, ruler over the weekend at the Santerno racetrack and winner of 2018 TCR Europe. The fifth car belongs to the Elite Motorsport Team. The new weapon of the Spanish manufacturer, a benchmark in the sector, is powered by the 2.0-Liter TSI engine that develops 340hp at 6,000 rpm with a maximum torque of 410Nm at 2,500 rpm. The gearbox is a sequential 6-speed DSG, front-wheel drive and multi-plate limited-slip differential. Other technical features are electric steering, McPherson suspension at the front and Multi-link at the rear, 378mm self-ventilated brakes with 6-piston callipers in front and 272mm discs with 2-piston callipers at the rear. The total weight of the car, including the driver, is 1265 kg. Enjoy! 😉 Finalmente ho potuto vedere e filmare in azione la nuova 2020 Cupra Leon Competición TCR, non uno ma ben cinque esemplari. Ci troviamo sul circuito di Imola durante la gara conclusiva del campionato TCR durante l'ACI Racing Weekend. Quattro i modelli schierati dal Team Girasole uno dei quali pilotato dal fortissimo pilota spagnolo Mikel Azcona, dominatore nel fine settimana sul circuito del Santerno e vincitore del TCR Europe 2018. La quinta vettura appartiene al Team Elite Motorsport. La nuova arma della casa spagnola, punto di riferimento nel settore, è mossa dal motore 2.0-Litri TSI che sviluppa 340cv a 6.000 giri/min con una coppia massima di 410Nm a 2.500 giri/min. Il cambio è un sequenziale DSG a 6 rapporti, trazione alle ruote anteriori e differenziale a slittamento limitato. Altre caratteristiche tecniche sono uno sterzo elettrico, sospensioni McPherson all'anteriore e Multi-link al posteriore, freni da 378mm autoventilanti con pinze a 6 pistoncini daventi ed al retroreno dischi da 272mm con pinze a 2 pistoncini. Il peso totale della vettura comprensivo di pilota è di 1265 kg.
