This new Ghost joins the existing lineup including Phantom, Cullinan, Wraith and Dawn. Ghost is the oldest model name in the history of the company. The first all new car to be made under the Rolls-Royce name in 1906 was named... the “Silver Ghost”. It was that car that cemented Rolls-Royce as the makers of the best motor cars in the world. That original Ghost took part in a famous London to Edinburgh run in 1911, where it completed the 800 mile round trip to Scotland and back, proving herself to be more reliable, faster, and more fuel efficient than her rivals. 110 years ago that was quite some feat.
