Under the bonnet is the turbocharged 2.2-litre ‘EJ22G’ flat-four producing 276bhp, which is sent to all four wheels via a five-speed manual transmission. Subaru created 400 domestic market 22Bs, all of which reportedly sold out within 48 hours of the release announcement, and a further 24 cars for export markets.
