The "Renault 5 Turbo" is a 3-door hatchback which was built between 1980 and 1982. It is equipped with a turbo-charged 1397 ccm Inline4 otto engine which produces up to 160 PS (117.7 kW) and 210 Nm of torque. The car weighs 970 kg, giving it a power-to-weight ratio of 6.06 kg/PS. Renault states a sprint value of 6.9 s from 0 to 100 km/h and claims a top speed of 205 km/h . The engine is attached to a 5-speed manual gearbox, which routes the power to the rear wheels. In total, 1,690 units of this variant of the 5 were built.
