1974 Saab Sonett III. Saab's Sonett-series (aka Saab 97) lost out to increasingly restrictive US-legislation. Not only did they have to limit the power output of the engine, much worse, Saab was also forced to fit huge rubber bumpers, completely spoiling the fine lines of the car. This, in turn, led to sharp drops in sales figures on the main market, USA, and 1974 would be the final year of production. This specific car has been brought back to pre rubber-bumper specs, showing the fine lines as they should be. The annual CRAA (Classic Race Aarhus) vintage motoring event attracts an ever increasing participation from both drivers and spectators. The classic car parks of the event (there are 2, one outside by the main entrance and one in "Mindeparken") are always a good place to spot interesting vintage vehicles from practically any era of motoring. Many visitors spend a lot of time here, enjoying the sights.
