It was introduced in 1965 at an auto show in Geneva, and itβs estimated that about 760 Miuras were produced during that period. Lamborghini Miura is considered as the first supercar with a rear mid-engined two-seat layout. In 2016, Miura celebrated the 50th anniversary and John Temerian had a chance to talk with Lamborghini Legends - Joe Nastasi and Jim Kaminski about the significance of the Miura in the automotive world. Joes Nastasi stated that exactly the design is what makes Lamborghini Miura so special. Back in the 60s and 70s, it was considered ahead of its time and the Miura is still one of the best-looking cars of all time. John Temerian also will take a drive with the 1972 Lamborghini Miura SV. This particular Miura has remained original - it has original glass, entire interior and wheels. Also, he will talk about his familyβs passion for Lamborghini Miuras and share his story of how he became the owner of one.
