  • Donkervoort F22: a Lotus Seven from the FUTURE | Henry Catchpole - The Driver's Seat
    • Henry Catchpole drives the Donkervoort F22 in the latest episode of The Driver’s Seat on the Hagerty YouTube channel. If you haven’t heard of the F22, it’s not a Dutch cousin of the Lockheed Martin/Boeing stealth fighter, it’s more of a 21st century Lotus Seven (and the successor to the D8 GTO that Misha Charoudin recently took round the Nürburgring Nordschleife). The F22 has a 2.5-litre turbocharged straight-five engine from Audi, with tuning by ABT. Consequently, it has a soundtrack that is redolent of a Group B Quattro! Straight line performance isn’t lacking either, with 493bhp and 472lb ft of torque propelling a mere 750kg (1653lb) for a 0-62mph time of just 2.5sec. According to Donkervoort, it’s also capable of pulling 2.3G in the corners thanks to semi-slick Nankang tyres and a chassis that is part old-school tubular and part proprietary Ex-Core carbon fibre. Ex-Core uses a manufacturing process that pushes carbon sheets against a mould from the inside using a foam. It has been used by Toyota Gazoo Racing in both its Le Mans Hypercar and its WRC Yaris Rally1 car. More than one F1 Team has made use of it as well. With a price tag of around £300,000 the F22 isn’t cheap, but only 100 will ever exist, so it is exclusive. With a manual gearbox and no hybridisation it also taps into plenty of people’s desire for analogue cars. And if you’re tall, then this might just be the sportscar for you as it’s been deigned to accommodate someone of up to 6’10” in height - understandable when it comes from the nation that is often cited as the tallest in the world. We hope you enjoy the film. If you’d like to show your support for the channel then a thumbs up or a comment would be hugely appreciated. At a semi-hypothetical time like this, for example, a 0-62 mile-per-hour acceleration figure and how it compares to another car's 0-62-mph figure simply isn't important. • 2023 Porsche 911 Sport Classic: First Drive Review | Catchpole on Carfection
    • Henry Catchpole drove the NEW Porsche 911 Sport Classic for Carfection for a road review. 00:00 Epic Intro 00:28 What is the Porsche 911 Sport Classic? 01:03 the price 01:30 Why should you buy the Sport Classic? + Epic roads 03:12 Interior 03:52 Engine and drivetrain 04:26 Key Stats 05:00 Is this as good as a GT2? 05:20 Driving impressions 07:35 The Story of the Ducktail 09:10 Final verdict 10:55 Thanks For Watching The Sport Classic is the most expensive new Porsche 911 you can currently buy, but is it worth its top billing? We went on a bit of a road trip to a spectacular Austrian mountain road to find out. A big part of the SC’s appeal definitely lies in its looks and for some the duck tail spoiler, Fuchs-style wheels and heritage interior will be enough to justify the price tag on their own. It certainly garnered attention everywhere we parked and although I would delete (at no cost) the graphics, it really does stand out in a relatively subtle way. If you think it needs a little more mechanical substance to make it seem worthwhile, then you’ll be delighted to hear that it has a unique drivetrain. Unlike the 997 Sport Classic that was really just a styling exercise this SC has had a much more thorough transformation, with the 3.7-litre engine lifted from the 911 Turbo. However, it gets more interesting because instead of delivering power to all four wheels as it does in the Turbo, in the SC the flat-six simply sends it to the rear. Its figures are 542bhp and 442lb ft of torque which are slightly down on the Turbo however this is because the Sport Classic also sets itself apart with a manual gearbox. This might sound like a recipe for a bit of a wild child but in fact the opposite felt true on the road. This was an excellent companion for cruising on a long road trip, particularly with an interior that felt a distinctly more luxurious proposition than any other 992 I’ve been in. The down side is that it perhaps didn’t offer quite as many thrills as I would have liked on the really good bits of road at the end of our journey - a manual GTS would have been better for that. I’m sure what will ultimately ensure that the large price tag is justified is the fact it’s only going to be produced in limited numbers, with just 1250 due to be built. Admittedly that’s five times the number of 997 SCs produced, but even so, with a level of exclusivity guaranteed, the latest Sport Classic is almost certain to be a future classic. • Driving the WILD Praga Bohema and its Aero Ancestor | Henry Catchpole - The Driver’s Seat
    • Henry Catchpole gets behind the uniquely-shaped wheel of the Praga Bohema in the latest episode of The Driver’s Seat. He also drives its incredible ancestor, the Praga Super Piccolo from 1934. Two amazing road racers from the Czech Republic with a focus on aerodynamics and lightweight. The Praga Bohema has 700bhp, weighs just 982kg (2165lb) and can generate 900kg of downforce, but the experience of driving it is about so much more than the impressive numbers. Just sitting in the laid back driving position and holding that wheel in your hands is so different to most cars - even most hypercars. It is up there in rarefied air with the Aston Martin Valkyrie and the Porsche 963 RSP in terms of its top-tier race car ambience. With a price of around $1.5million the engine is perhaps the biggest question mark, because a turbocharged V6 isn’t as exotic as a V10 or V12. However, this is the first time that Nissan has allowed anyone else to use its VR38DETT engine from the GT-R (and if Ferrari can use a V6 in its F80…). What isn’t in question is that the Bohema looks like it’s worth the money - not just from a distance but up close where you can see the fabulous artistry in the engineering solutions. It really is beautiful. And engineering detail is clearly something that runs in the family as the 1934 Praga Super Piccolo demonstrates. This is the only one in existence, having been painstakingly restored and recreated over the last ten years. With a perspex roof, aluminium bodywork and magnesium used for the engine block and gearbox it is a marvel. It’s got a good horn too. And four pedals… We hope you enjoy this latest episode. • NEW 2020 Porsche Macan GTS: Road Review | Carfection
    • Henry Catchpole gets behind the wheel of the 2020 Porsche Macan GTS in Portugal. Subscribe for more Carfection videos: http://bit.ly/1V1yFYX Don't forget to hit the 🔔 Like on Facebook: http://on.fb.me/1RvTdL4 Follow on Twitter: http://bit.ly/1JUAgiI Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/carfectionfilms/ I've always thought of the Porsche Macan as a small SUV. Relatively speaking, it is, because the Cayenne is the big one in Porsche's SUV lineup. And compared with a Lincoln Navigator or a Range Rover or a BMW X7 or countless others, it is rather diminutive. But then I looked at the spec sheet for this new GTS and was surprised to find that it isn't actually that much smaller or lighter than its peppery sibling. It weighs the better part of 4,400 pounds, which is only about 200 pounds shy of a Cayenne with the same engine. With regards to the GTS and its 2.9-liter, turbocharged V6, the output is surprisingly tame given the hefty curb weight. Power is quoted as 375 horsepower between 5,200 and 6,700 rpm, while torque is 383 pound-feet from 1,750 rpm. Not bad numbers, mind you, but an Audi RS4 and even the best hot hatches (which weigh about 25% less than a Macan) have a power figure beginning with a 4. In fact, it places the GTS in a slight no man's land below the real performance heavyweights like Mercedes' AMG 63 models and the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio, but above the second-tier AMG 43 or Audi S models. I realize the Turbo exists at the top of the Macan tree, but the jump to that has now widened when compared with the last generation. Previously there was a 40-hp gap between Turbo and GTS, now it's 60 hp. Surely a GTS badge deserves more? So, on paper, the Macan GTS doesn't have a very impressive power-to-weight ratio for a performance SUV with a Porsche badge. But things get a little confusing when you look at the 0-to-60-mph time. With Sport Chrono fitted the GTS will hit the historic mark in just 4.5 seconds, which is hardly slow. And things get even more confusing when you drive the GTS down a good piece of road like the one I found in Portugal. From behind the wheel, the GTS not only feels small in terms of its size, it also feels really lively, quick and responsive in the way it accelerates. The new V6 has moved the turbos inside the V, which shortens the path the exhaust gasses have to travel. The theory is that this should make for a more responsive engine and that's certainly how it feels. Combined with the snappy, seven-speed, dual-clutch gearbox, the GTS really rips through its revs. It feels happiest living in the upper half of the rev range rather than leaning on low-end torque, but if you keep it on boil, then it leaps between corners like a puppy late for lunch. What's more, the chassis is a perfect match for the engine. I drove a base, 2.0-liter Macan recently, and although it initially felt like it should turn in with real poise, it never quite lived up to the promise. The GTS fulfills that potential. The steering gives you a decent idea of how the front tires are loading and the whole car pivots like a lofty hot hatch. Get on the throttle early and it even feels pleasingly rear-biased as it drives through and out of corners. The car I tested had the optional 21-inch wheels but the standard steel-spring sport suspension (which rides 15 millimeters lower than that of the base Macan). There is an air suspension option, but I don't think it's necessary from a comfort point of view. I drove on some cobbled streets that had been made even rougher by roadworks and it was as plush as I think you'd ever need. On the more interesting sections of tarmac you do need to set the dampers to their firmest setting, Sport Plus, rather than just Sport, as otherwise bigger undulations can leave you with a bit too much wallow. Rather pleasingly, you can jump between these and other settings via the myriad buttons on the transmission tunnel. Such a plethora of things to push looks a little old-fashioned given the modern trend for one big touchscreen (there's one of those in the Macan, too), but I think it makes life much easier. The large gear selector looks slightly old-fashioned too, but again works well and is useful for resting your arm on while operating the aforementioned touchscreen. The other standout feature of the interior are the sports seats. Although they look like quite conventional chairs with separate headrests, the bolstering is plentiful and placed perfectly. The only big disappointment is the sound of the GTS' V6. The previous generation's 3.0-liter V6 had a wonderful voice, but the new one has been muffled, almost certainly by the addition of particulate filters. It's not an unpleasant soundtrack but it is a noticeably thinner noise that lacks depth and complexity. It's a real shame, as it does slightly dampen the whole character of the car.

It marries the advanced aerodynamic and hybrid drivetrain technology with an aesthetic that harkens back to the 250 LM race car. This hybrid system shows great potential for its usability. • Driving the NEW Aston Martin Vanquish (Twin-turbo V12!) | Henry Catchpole - The Driver’s Seat
    • Henry Catchpole reviews the new Aston Martin Vanquish on the island of Sardinia in this latest episode of The Driver’s Seat. He tries really hard to steer clear of any references to James Bond but if there’s a famous hotel, a fast boat and an Aston Martin, what’s a chap to do? Don’t worry, though, it’s not all Roger Moore and Martinis - there is plenty to talk about with this final piece of Aston’s three-car puzzle. The DB12, Vantage and now Vanquish are all front engined and rear-wheel drive, but each has a distinct character. The 2+2 DB12 was described as a Super GT, while the Vantage is clearly the more sporty offering. But what room does that leave for the Vanquish? Well, as it turns out, the Vanquish is capable of being the best GT of the trio. However, it is also possessed of a rather brutish side, with a penchant for graffiti. Without even trying, the pale roads of Sardinia were left tattooed with tyre marks in every area of hard acceleration. If you turn the traction control off then the marks get darker still, but the Aston reveals a very refined form of unruliness with its E-diff doing an ace job of making things controllable. The new Vanquish costs from £333,000 or $429,000, which puts it in direct competition with the new Ferrari 12Cilindri. Both cars produce over 800bhp from V12 engines (with no hybrid assistance, unlike the Lamborghini Revuelto) and transmit it all to the road via the rear wheels alone. The Italian is a little lighter and quicker, but the Brit is faster and while the naturally aspirated Ferrari makes do with 500lb ft of torque at 7250rpm, the twin-turbo Aston has 738lb ft (or a nice round 1000NM) of torque from 2500rpm to 5000rpm. We’d be intrigued to know which you would have, given the choice. Maybe you’d rather have the new, hybrid V8 Bentley Continental GT… or are 12 cylinders a deal breaker? • Driven! New 907-HP Lamborghini Temerario review | Henry Catchpole - The Driver’s Seat
    • Henry Catchpole reviews the new Lamborghini Temerario in the latest episode of The Driver’s Seat on Hagerty. A turbocharged baby Lamborghini with 907bhp on an old-school Formula 1 circuit such as Estoril sounds like a fairly daunting prospect, but such is the brilliance of the latest chassis from Sant’Agata that it’s actually just a lot of fun. So, as a well as driving the Temerario, Catchpole goes in search of the person (Rouven Mohr) who has masterminded the dynamics. On the powertrain side, gone is the old, naturally-aspirated V10 engine from the Huracan and Gallardo and in its place is a turbocharged V8 and three electric motors. But while that might initially seem like a disappointment, things do improve dramatically when you find out that the V8 can rev to a frenzied 10,000rpm! Two of the 110kW axial flux electric motors are also situated in the front axle and through torque vectoring they help to give the Temerario a fantastic blend of stability and agility. The Sport and Corsa driving modes each have a distinct character to them and combined with the excellent Magnetorheological dampers from the Revuelto, it’s quite the package. Obviously there is a weight penalty for having a hybrid powertrain, but the 3.8kWh battery sits low down longitudinally in the centre of the car, so although the Temerario is around 250kg heavier than a Huracan Evo it has a lower centre of gravity and a better weight balance. It’s not as light as the McLaren Artura or the Ferrari 296 GTB, but they are both equipped with less powerful V6 engines and are rear-wheel drive only. The Temerario is also claimed to accelerate quicker with a 0-62mph time of just 2.7seconds. The price of the new Temerario starts at £260,035 in the UK and $357,621 in the USA, however things like the optional Alleggerita (lightweight) package, carbon wheels and titanium exhaust will all push that price up even more. As for colours, well it’s pretty much a case of whatever you want, from the more subtle Blu Marinus and Verde Gea Matt, to the wilder Verde Mercurius and Arancio Xanto. The Viola Pasifae (purple) of our test car looked particularly good. We hope you enjoy this episode. • NEW Aston Martin DBX: In-Depth Walkaround | Carfection 4K
    • Henry Catchpole takes an in-depth look at the new Aston Martin DBX and the engineering behind it. Hop out of the back, pop yourself into one of those front seats and you again get a feeling of sitting in the DBX, not on it. There really is quite a sports car feel of been tucked down behind the dash, yet also, slightly confusingly, with a good view out. The infotainment is an upgrade compared to other Astons, as it is a generation further down the Mercedes line. That means a 10.25-inch screen in the middle and a 12.3-inch screen for the dash. The smell of fine leather permeated the cabin of the car that I sat in, but the most intriguing trim option is a world first application of wool (it’s an 80 percent wool, blend but it’s enough to get the Woolmark). The interiors of the two Lagonda concepts have contained noticeably soft furnishings, so this isn’t an entirely unexpected development, but I’m nonetheless intrigued by not only how it will feel, but how it will wear on the seats. The other area of particular material intrigue is the ‘bridge’ between the two front seats. Large amounts of storage are available beneath it and there are the usual buttons on top, but the sides can be finished in flax composite (the car I saw), solid walnut or even a bronze metal mesh, and it thus takes on a much more sculptural aspect. Overall there is a much simpler, less cluttered feeling in the DBX compared to some of the more recent Aston interiors and I think that comes down to the clever covering of some of the speakers and vents in perforated leather (apparently another world first). I realise I’ve spent a lot of time talking about the interior so far, but to be honest that is probably the most important facet of this new Aston Martin. Yes, the new version of the 4-litre, turbocharged V8 from the Vantage will be appealing to customers. And no doubt the fact that in Sport Plus mode it has similar roll characteristics to a DB11 (thanks to the 48volt electronic anti-roll system) will intrigue too. Some will probably also find a genuine use for the DBX’s ability to wade through 500mm of water and climb steep muddy slopes. But most will simply want it to fit seamlessly into and then enhance everyday life. To that end, things that might not crop up on dealer spec sheets but will ultimately be more appreciated than the 0-60mph time of 4.3 seconds, include the efforts to reduce NVH via the use of a single-piece carbon propshaft rather than a two piece item. Or the application of computational aero-acoustics technology to reduce road and wind noise for occupants. Or the hard points of the car that Aston claims have much greater stiffness than those of its rivals, thereby allowing softer bushings and greater refinement. Likewise, customers may well notice the rear wing at the top of the boot and some may even be interested in how it directs air down over the rear to both keep the glass clear and then activate the rear kicker that clearly shares its lines with the Vantage. However, most customers will, I suspect be more concerned with what is revealed when the boot is lifted up (electronically, of course), the answer being a genuinely capacious 632 litres of luggage space. Aston Martin is even making a big thing of the optional Accessory Packs, intended to further tailor a DBX to each customer’s particular proclivities. Owner of a dog? Adorably attached to a miniature pot-bellied pig? Then the Pet Pack, complete with portable washer, partition and rear bumper protector could be just the ticket. Or if you prefer to watch others exercising animals (such as horses or sheep dogs) then the Event Pack might appeal as it offers event seating, a picnic blanket, an event hamper and, because Aston Martin is still British, umbrella storage. Given that this is the manufacturer’s first full five-seater, let alone its first SUV, the level of detail that Aston has gone to with the DBX is impressive. It shows how important it is to the company. Priced at £158,000 in the UK and $189,900 in the USA, the DBX is very much a luxury SUV. Yet Aston Martin will be hoping that the most practical and versatile car in its 106 year history will not only take the winged badge into new terrain, but also introduce it to a whole new customer base. Quite a few of whom will probably be rather keen on sitting in the back seats… Subscribe for more Carfection videos: http://bit.ly/1V1yFYX Don't forget to hit the 🔔 Like on Facebook: http://on.fb.me/1RvTdL4 Follow on Twitter: http://bit.ly/1JUAgiI Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/carfectionfilms/

  • MANUAL Aston Martin Vantage AMR: Road Review | Carfection 4K
    • Henry Catchpole took the NEW manual version of the Aston Martin Vantage AMR out for a spin on the roads near the Nurburgring to give it a Carfection road review. Subscribe for more Carfection videos: http://bit.ly/1V1yFYX Don't forget to hit the 🔔 Like on Facebook: http://on.fb.me/1RvTdL4 Follow on Twitter: http://bit.ly/1JUAgiI Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/carfectionfilms/ In the same broad price bracket as the Aston Martin Vantage, there are currently rather a lot (relatively speaking) of sports cars vying for customers’ (be they actual or just daydreaming) attention. You could have a well-specced version of the latest Porsche 911, for example. Fancy something with the engine a little further forward? How about an Audi R8 or a McLaren Sports Series car? If front-mid engined is your thing then the AMG GT is an appealing choice and BMW has also just released the M8. I think Maserati will still sell you a GranTurismo if you fancy something Italian. Since its launch last year, the Vantage has arguably struggled to stand out in this somewhat crowded marketplace. Granted, the looks are wonderful and if you’re a sucker for the badge then nothing else will do. There is also nothing wrong with the dynamics, but they aren’t class-leading. The 4-litre, twin-turbo V8 engine is good too, but it’s not exactly bespoke (even if the AMG badges have been taken off). Now, however, with the launch of the Vantage AMR, it feels like Aston Martin has carved its own distinct niche in the market. And it’s a rather appealing niche. The thing that principally differentiates the AMR is the fitment of a manual gearbox. It’s the same Graziano, dog-leg, seven- speed that we saw in the last V12 Vantage, so it’s not the easiest or, at times, slickest shift. Neither is the gear knob something to feast your eyes upon. But the pedals are placed absolutely perfectly, so heel and toe down-changes are a joy to perform (although the new AMR Shift programme will do it for you if you want). There is also real satisfaction to getting your head around the slightly peculiar shift pattern and the unusual weightings across the gate. Like the manual ‘box, the chassis also requires concentration but delivers a real sense of interaction and enjoyment. It has the feeling of a car with a very short wheelbase and the quick steering is matched by the response of the front tyres so you need calm hands to pilot it smoothly. Add in the fact that traction (certainly on the wet roads I drove it on) can feel decidedly limited and initially slides are not the most progressive, and you have a car that definitely makes you think. Try listening to a podcast as you head quickly down a sodden country road and by the end you will probably find that you have missed the salient points of whatever the chosen pod happens to be. This is a car that demands you pay attention to it. And I like that. Aston Martin intends to build 141 Vantage AMRs, which might seem like a curious number. However, when you add to those 141 another 59 Vantage 59 Editions (essentially AMRs with some extra carbon and a celebratory, motorsport-aping paint job) you get a nice round 200. What’s more, after those 200 have been sold Aston Martin will be offering the manual gearbox as an option on a standard Vantage. It is, of course, not as rudimentary as simply bolting a manual ‘box on in place of the eight-speed auto. There are a host of other changes, including a mechanical limited-slip differential (also made by Graziano) in place of the e-diff fitted to the auto-Vantage. This in turn has required a 20 per cent stiffening of the rear anti-roll bar, while the rear suspension and the EPAS have also been retuned to take account of the drop in weight. The AMR weighs in at 100kg less than a standard Vantage, but 70kg of that weight saving is as a direct result of the manual ‘box, so will be passed on. The only downside is that torque has had to be reduced slightly compared to the auto ‘box Vantage. Power remains at 503bhp, but the torque figure is down by 44lb ft to 461lb ft and it is limited to just 258lb ft in first and second gears. The reason for this is that to make the gearbox cope with the full 505lb ft would have required extra strengthening and that would have added an extra 100kg, meaning an undesirable net gain of 30kg for a manual compared to an auto. I can’t say I ever felt a need for more torque... So, it’s lighter, more engaging and if you like to be able to brag in your local bar then you’ll be pleased to hear that the Vantage is now also faster, as the claimed top speed of the AMR is 200mph. Of course the price has gone up too, with the AMR starting at $184,995 (£149,995), but the manual ‘box will be a no-cost option when it is offered on the standard Vantage next year. It’s an option I would definitely choose, because while it might not instantly turn the Vantage into a class-leader it does make it feel very distinctive among its rivals and pleasingly interesting.

  • FERRARI F512 M | 1 of 500 - REVIEW and sound 2014 HQ
    • Here another video from a new great Official Ferrari Meeting in the south Italy this year at its 1th edition. Organized by the "VETERAN CLUB POLICORO", the greatest Ferrari Club of Basilicata cause Matera will be the "CAPITALE EUROPEA DELLA CULTURA" (EUROPEAN CAPITAL OF CULTURE) 2019. This Ferrari Club organize a lot of events which attract the partecipation of over 50 teams from each parts of Italy. This year 55 Ferraris and other supercars from Basilicata, Puglia, Campania, Sicily, Lazio and Calabria atteded at the festival, so be sure not to miss any of the videos I've uploaded in the appropriate playlist. The event has been named LE FERRARI A MATERA and tries to combine passion and culture visiting the suggestive locations of MATERA, the second town of Lucania and also known as "LA CITTA' SOTTERRANEA" (the Subterranean City), for its historical center called "Sassi", considered World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1993, along with the Park of the Rupestrian Churches. The Sassi originate from a prehistoric settlement, and are suspected to be some of the first human settlements in Italy. The Sassi are houses dug into the calcareous rock, with many of these "houses" that are really caverns, and the streets in some parts of the Sassi often are located on the rooftops of other houses. The ancient town grew in height on one slope of the ravine created by a river that is now a small stream. The ravine is known locally as LA GRAVINA. The event was enrich by a Regularity Race on the circuit of the KARTODROMO LA PALOMBA, historical track for many Ferrari Club and other kart enthusiasts. In this video a stunning and rare red Ferrari F512 TR with italian driving licence plate takes part at the event giving me the possibility to film it in each detail like rims, engine, interior, the logo of the "Cavallino" and to record its noisy start-up and its lovely sound while driving. The Ferrari Testarossa is an italian sports car produced by the manufacturer of Maranello, Italy since 1984 to replace the Ferrari BB 512i and it's one of the most beloved car ever made. Unveiled for the first time at the 1984 Paris Motor Show, had a 4.9 litre V12 engine with 48 valves in mid-position which developed 390 hp and 490 Nm of torque, enough to reach a top speed of over 290 Km/h and to go from 0-100 Km/h in only 5.2 seconds. The name Testarossa means "red head" in italian and comes from the color of the red-painted cam covers on the flat-12 engine. The design was entirely made by Leonardo Fioravanti for Pinifarina, already father of cars like the Ferrari Dino 246, the Ferrari 288 GTO and the Ferrari 365 Daytona. This includes a sharp exterior design with two big side vents and without a rear spoiler, which gave to the Testarossa the appellation of cheese grater. In the 1986 Ferrari commissioned a ONE-OFF convertible variant of the Testarossa to be a gift for the FIAT president Gianni Agnelli. The Ferrari Testarossa Spider was painted in Silver with reference to the silver's periodic table abbreviation, Ag, the first two letters of Agnelli's name. Based on the Testarossa, in 1989 was made a concept car commissioned by the Sultan of Brunei Hassanal Bolkiah and named Ferrari Mythos. The sultan ordered other six units (of a total of 9 made) of another limited edition based on the TR, named Ferrari FX. The most powerful limited edition is for sure the Ferrari Colani Testa d'Oro, mounting the 4,9 engine of the Testa Rossa but with a twin-turbo which develops 750 hp and 900 Nm of torque. At the 1992 Los Angeles Auto Show was presented the evolution of the Testarossa, named Ferrari 512TR with many exterior innovations, especially in the lights zone, and a powered engine which now develops 428 hp and 491 Nm of torque and obviously new performance: the 512TR goes now from 0-100 Km/h in only 4.9 seconds for a final max speed of over 315 Km/h. The TR presents new 18-inch wheels also and bigger brakes by Brembo. With a production of 2.261 units sold for a price of 170.000 €, it's very appreciated by the collectors. Based on the 512TR was presented a ONE OFF named Ferrari FZ93, designed by Ercole Spada for Zagato. The last version of the Testarossa was unveiled in the 1994 and was named Ferrari F512M. This evolution has new lights and interior and a powered engine which now has 440 hp and 500 Nm of torque, enough to reach the 320 Km/h and to go from 0 to 100 Kmh in only 4.7 seconds. With only 501 examples made, the Ferrari F512 M is the rarest version of the Testarossa. The production of the Testarossa ends in the 1996, when the car was replaced by the Ferrari 550 Maranello, with 7.177 units of the original version made. Complete walk around with each detail like interior, wheels, engine, logo and lights, driving, LOUD starting-up and really noisy exhaust rev sound. RECORDED IN AUTUMN 2014: November, 23th 2014

The Ferrari 348 is a Touring car produced by the Maranello's Prancing Horse since 1989, to replace the always loved Ferrari 328. Originally Ferrari produced this car in the classic version coupe TB (Trasversale Berlinetta) and cabriolet TS (Trasversale Spider) that took the place of the relative verison of the Ferrari 328. Both were equipped with the same 3,4 litre V8 engine with four valve/cylinder associate to a 5-speed manual trasmission which developed 300 hp and 324 Nm of torque, reaching the 100 Km/h in only 5,6 seconds for a final Top Speed of 275 Km/h. In 1993 Ferrari launched on the market three new versions namely the Ferrari 348 GTB (252 pieces made), GTS (137 made) and Spider (1.090 made). This upgrade added some little styling changes at the front grille and a chrome "CAVALLINO" logo at the TB an TS versions and a complete new line-up for the Spyder, resulting the new complete convertible Ferrari after the Mondial Cabriolet. The upgrade also introduced new power at its V8 which now produced 320 hp with the same torque of the TB and TS, but 0-100 acceleration time decreases to 5,4 seconds for a Max. Speed of over 270 Km/h. With this same engine but with a new exhaust system, slick tyres, better brakes and upgraded aerodynamics the italian manufacture produced in the same year the Ferrari 348 Challenge. In the next years other special edition of the car will be launched like the FERRARI 348 SERIE SPECIALE, produced in only 115 units and with 312 hp, the super rare Ferrari 348 Zagato (only 12 cars made) and the extreme Ferrari 348 GT Competizione, which inherited brakes and other components from the legendary Ferrari F40. The production will over in 1995 when the car was replaced by the Ferrari F355 and with 8,844 units sold result one of most loved Ferraris ever since the first exemplar produced (a white TS sold in North America). This was the last car produced under the supervision of Enzo Ferrari and the last Ferrari by Leonardo Fioravanti too. The success of this car is also due to its efficient engine that today is the best Ferrari engine ever in terms of consumption (12-13 Km/l), so as to bring the Ferrari to use the 348 as a base to develop its probably best hypercar ever: the Ferrari Enzo. • GUMPERT APOLLO N - GENEVA MOTOR SHOW 2016 HQ
    • Here another video from the 86th Edition of the Geneva International Motor Show having place in the swiss city from 3-13 March 2016 and where were exposed more than 800 of the newest supercars of the greatest brands of the world. As every year the people who came at the motorshow was amazed by the incredible premieres and prototypes unveiled in one of the 7 halls of the Palexpo de Geneve, in particoular by the brand new Lamborghini Centenario (the fastest Lambo ever made), the Gumpert Apollo Arrow, the Pagani Huayra BC and by the new Bugatti Chiron. I recorded all the cars at the GIMS, so be sure to not miss any video you can find in the playlist I've created for. In this video a stunning white and black Apollo N exposed at the show giving me the possibility to film it in each detail like rims, engine, interior, the logo. The Gumpert Apollo is a german hypercar produced since 2005 by the manufacturer of Altenburg to be the launch car of the automaker. Presented for the first time at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show, the Apollo was an extreme street legal monster that mounted a 4.2 litre V8 biturbo engine derived from Audi, build with light metals to contain the weight, which produced 650 hp and 850 Nm of torque. With a weight of only 1200 kg, the performance were amazing: over 360 Km/h of top speed and only 3.1 seconds from 0 to 100 Km/h. It is a mid-engined, rear wheel drive two-seater constructed on a tubular chromoly frame, with fiberglass or optional carbon fiber body panels. Gumpert claims the design of the Apollo is optimized so that the car could drive upside-down in a tunnel if driven at sufficiently high speeds, but this has not been tested. Through the years, Gumpert presented many updated versions such as the Apollo S and the Apollo Sport with most powerful engines till 700 hp. The Apollo took even part into motorsport series with an 800hp Race Version that made its racing debut in the 2005 Divinol Cup closing in 3rd position. After the administrative problems that involved the founder Roland Gumpert, the brand entred into administation losing the "Gumpert" name becoming Apollo Automobil. At 2016 Geneva Motor Show the new version, the Apollo N, has been presented with many aerodynamic updates and a new power of 700 hp that will be produced in a limited edition of only 6 units. The production of the Gumpert Apollo reached around the 100 examples made and sold for an averange price of 500.000 €. • Ferrari FXX Evoluzione at Monza Racetrack - Screaming V12 Engine, Backfires & Glowing Brakes!
    • Here I am, at least once a year I have to show you a video about the Ferrari FXX Evoluzione, this time filmed in action on the Monza circuit, strong of its screaming v12 engines, fantastic backfires and amazing glowing brakes. We are at the 2018 Finali Mondiali Ferrari. More than 10 years have passed since their debut and the sound, in my opinion, is still the best one of all Ferrari XX hypercars. I had the opportunity to see again in action some Evoluzione model that develops about 860hp. The FXX was produced from 2005 to 2006 in 30 units taking as a basis the Enzo raising performance in every aspect. Its V12 is passed to the displacement of 6.262cc with a power of 800 bhp moving on to the last stage, as mentioned, of 860 bhp for an empty mass of 1.155 kg. Performance, as you can imagine, is frightening with 2.8 sec. from 0 to 100 km/h and a top speed electronically limited to 345 km/h. Without speed, limiter could reach 390 km/h. The mechanical and aerodynamic is exquisite, six-speed F1 gearbox, traction control with 9 positions, full telemetry, diffuser and wing sections for maximum downforce. The FXX was the first car project destined to few lucky owners/testers, usable only on the track. Despite the price at the time of $1.8 million, all the 30 cars were sold immediately. The successful XX programs series continues today with great results. I have to thank my friend and Youtuber 19Bozzy92: https://www.youtube.com/user/19Bozzy92 with whom I collaborated to realize this video. Enjoy! • NEW Bugatti Pur Sport - The 'Drivers' Bugatti Hypercar!
    • Here is the NEW Bugatti Pur Sport and this is my first Michelin Mission of 2020! The Bugatti Pur Sport has been redesigned for driver engagement, a large front splitter and widened air inlets, a new 1.9m fixed rear spoiler to generate big downforce and a more extreme diffuser design. The Pur Sport can also be ordered with an optional split-paintwork design, leaving exposed carbonfibre for the bottom third of the car. The exhaust tailpipe is made of 3D-printed titanium to save weight, too. That’s not the only weight-shedding measure Bugatti has taken with the Pur Sport. Lighter Alcantara is used throughout most of the interior, which is described as “deliberately sporty and raw”, with controls trimmed in black, anodised aluminium or titanium. Removing the hydraulic system from the rear wing saves 10kg on its own, while a new magnesium wheel design (wrapped in exclusively developed Michelin Cup 2 R tyres that increase lateral acceleration by 10%) Further use of titanium in the braking system, among other detail changes, contributes to an overall weight reduction of 50kg over the standard Chiron. The W16 still generates 1500hp for the Pur Sport. but Bugatti have focused on a heavily revised transmission. Primarily, the gear ratios are 15% closer to improve acceleration out of bends, which, together with the increased downforce, reduces the top speed substantially to 217mph. Along with raising the redline by 200rpm to 6900rpm, this means the Pur Sport is capable of accelerating from 37mph to 75mph nearly two seconds faster than the standard Chiron. ___________________________________ TikTok: @Mr JWW WEBSITE http://MrJWW.com INSTAGRAM http://instagram.com/MrJWW TWITTER http://twitter.com/MrJWW FACEBOOK http://facebook.com/MrJWW

  • Ford GT review | Ford's new Le Mans-ready supercar tested | Autocar
    • Here it is at last: the new Ford GT. Almost a year after it won the GTE PRO category at Le Mans, we've driven Ford's new GT supercar in road-going trim. Ford will build just 1000 of these GTs over the next four years. Each costs $450,000 and each is impossibly trick. The tub is carbon fibre and seats two occupants close together. Behind it is a 3.5-litre engine making a whalloping 647bhp. But it's in the suspension and aero where the real genius lies - and why the GT is such a competitive racing car. But does that make it a good road car? Join Matt Prior as we take the GT onto the roads in Utah, and onto the track at Utah Motorsport Campus, home of the Ford Performance Racing School, to test it to its limit. • 1015hp Lamborghini Revuelto revealed!
    • Here it is! The replacement for the Aventador - the Lamborghini Revuelto… and it’s absolutely insane! For starters, you Lambo fans will be happy - the 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 has been retained! And not only that, it’s 17kg lighter than the one that was housed in the Aventador. But that’s not all - it also redlines at a glorious 9,500rpm! What’s more, that’s not all you’ll find under the skin of this all-new Lambo - it also comes with THREE electric motors!! With two at the back and one at the front, the Revuelto puts out an insane 1,015hp! This is enough to propel you to 60mph in just 2.5 seconds, and it helps you hit 120mph in less than 7 seconds! Incredible, right?! But there’s a catch. It’s expected to cost around £450,000 - that’s £70,000 MORE than a Ferrari SF90! So is it worth it? You’ll need to stick with Mat and see for yourself! • NEW Lamborghini Revuelto: 1,000bhp V12 Hybrid Aventador Successor | Top Gear
    • Here it is, the long awaited Aventador replacement. It is, inevitably, a plug-in hybrid, but it’s one that takes the possibilities of the format and does wild and wonderful things with it. We’re talking a naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12, aided by three electric motors, two of which are mounted on the front axle, the third integrated into the new eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. All of that means the Revuelto is good for a total power output of 1,001bhp, a top speed of 217mph and 0-62mph in just 2.5 seconds. • STRANGE FERRARI 348 TS - Walkaround and sound 2014 HQ
    • Here' another video from a new great Official Ferrari Meeting in the south Italy this year at its 1th edition. Organized by "SCUDERIA FERRARI COSTA DEL VESUVIO", the greatest Ferrari Club of Campania born in Ercolano (NA) and situated between the blue mirror of The gulf of Naples on the Tirreno Sea and the big Vesuvio, a big active volcano. This Ferrari Club organize a lot of events which attract the partecipation of over 40 teams from each parts of Italy. This year 41 Ferraris and other supercars from Basilicata, Puglia, Campania, Sicily, Lazio and Calabria atteded at the festival, so be sure not to miss any of the videos I've uploaded in the appropriate playlist. The event was named DANTE IN FERRARI and tries to combine passion and culture visiting suggestive locations like the CERTOSA DI PADULA and the GROTTE DI PERTOSA, unique in the world. Right in this caves, with the event the TAPPETO VOLANTE theatre company opens the theatre season that sees costumed actors recite the DIVINA COMMEDIA by Dante Alighieri in places that draw incredibly the INFERNO he told. To enrich still more the event, to celebrate the inauguration of its new Ferrari Village in Campania, Ferrari has given us a real F1 car (Michael Schumacher's Ferrari F2004) to let 23 Fans's teams could compete in an authentic PIT-STOP Challange to win a special prize. In this video an unusual red Ferrari 348 TS with F355 Berlinetta rear lights takes part at the event giving me the possibility to film it in each detail like rims, engine, interior, cavallino logo and to record its noisy start-up and its lovely sound while driving. I don't know if its owner tuned the car or he fixed it after a crash, but for sure the car looks strange. This upgrade added some little styling changes at the front grille and a chrome "CAVALLINO" logo at the TB an TS versions and a complete new line-up for the Spider, resulting the new complete convertible Ferrari after the Mondial Cabriolet. Complete walk around with each detail like interior, wheels, engine, logo and lights, driving, LOUD starting-up and really noisy exhaust rev sound. • Chrysler/Dodge Viper GTS-R Racing on Track: V10 Sound, Warm Up, Accelerations!
    • Here's a video about one of the most iconic GT race cars ever built: the Viper GTS-R. I tried to put together all the clips and scenes I stored in these recent years, during which, thanks to the introduction of some new historic championships (Endurance Racing Legends and Masters Endurance Legends), these old glories are having a second life. But I honestly tought to have slightly more material... I have to do better next time I see them. The GTS-R was born because Dodge wished to showcase the potential capabilities of the new car, mostly in the realm of handling. At the same time, Dodge also hoped to increase sales in Europe where importation of the Viper had struggled. Dodge's parent, Chrysler, therefore approved the development of a racing program centering on the Viper GTS which was still in development at the time. Chrysler believed that in order to adapt their car not only for North American but also European circuits, they would require outside assistance. In 1995 the development of the car started in partnership with French company Oreca, which would build and maintain the cars, and British company Reynard Motorsport, which was in charge of building the chassis and other integral parts before they were shipped to Oreca for assembly. The Viper GTS-R was built under the GT1/GTS-1 class rules in order to be raced in both the FIA-GT and the North American IMSA GT championships. Oreca was chosen to run Chrysler's official factory teams in Europe. For North America, Chrysler would recruit the Canaska/Southwind Team as their factory effort. As soon as its racing career started in 1996, Chrysler understood that the GT1-class wasn't suitable for the GTS-R due to the presence of GT monsters such as the Porsche 911 GT1, McLaren F1 and later the upcoming Mercedes CLK, etc. Instead the Viper would make a perfect GT2 contender and as a first step the class victory at Le Mans was a more reasonable project. Starting from the GT1 basis, Oreca and Mopar Performance spent the winter of 1996/97 re-engineering the car to GT2 specifications and developing a proper racing engine with Caldwell. As a result the Viper won the FIA GT2 championship out pacing the Porsches, the absolute reference in GT for decades, but failed at Le Mans. For 1998 the GTS-R saw considerable development with a lighter chassis, better aero, much improved suspension and a more reliable engine. For the 1998 and 1999 seasons, Oreca Vipers had no real opposition and largely dominated the FIA-GT, Le Mans and ALMS. 2000 would be the last year of Oreca as a factory team, this final season seeing intense battles with the all new and more advanced Corvette C5R built upon new regulations. In 2001 the regulations changed as the GT world saw the advent of the new GT1 category. The Viper still had considerable potential and was upgraded with improved specifications and developed by the private teams. In an ultimate effort, Oreca developed in 2003 a new GT1 package for the Viper (cars with larger rear wings in this video are, in theory, GT1s). Although the production cars have mostly been known as Dodge Vipers, the Dodge brand did not sell the Viper in Europe. Because the new cars, named GTS-R, were built in Europe, they were mostly known as Chrysler Viper GTS-R. However cars racing in North America usually ran under the Dodge banner, making them Dodge Viper GTS-Rs. This naming difference therefore depends on location and region. The cars themselves actually carried no badging for either Chrysler or Dodge, with only the Viper GTS-R name appearing on the side of the bonnet. The Viper is powered by a 8.0-litre V10 engine which was able to produce 620hp at 6,500 rpm and 800 Nm of torque and linked to a 6 speed manual gearbox. 0:00 Details 1:49 Warm Up 3:46 Circuit Paul Ricard 8:16 Nürburgring 9:39 Monza Circuit #DodgeViperGTSR #ChryslerViperGTSR #ViperGTSR ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have to thank my friend and youtuber @Italiansupercarvideo for the great collaboration done during these events. • 2025 BMW M4 G82 GT3 EVO in action: BMW Italia Ceccato Racing testing at Misano for GTWC Europe!
    • Here's a video about the new M4 GT3 EVO of BMW Italia Ceccato Racing team in action at Misano Circuit for some pre-season tests organized by Kateyama. The Italian team will compete in the Endurance Cup of the 2025 GT World Challenge Europe with Felice Jelmini, Federico Malvestiti and Marcelo Tomasoni. The EVO package was unveiled last year during the Nürburgring 24h, bringing it to the track from 2025. Aesthetically the new features can be noticed in the smaller aerodynamic mirrors, larger air intakes on the front wheel arches, little dive planes added to the front and, of course, the new front and rear lights featuring BMW LCI design. Other changes include new anti-roll bars on the front and rear axle, larger rear brake discs and a much finer and easier to adjust differential. All these things ensure less wear on tyres and brakes and therefore better, more consistent handling. Rear wing features a modified adjustment range, giving greater aerodynamic efficiency. Under the hood there is always the 3.0-litre, twin-turbo straight-6 P58 engine, which is able to produce up to 590hp (limited according to the class' Balance of Performance), linked to a Xtrac 6-speed gearbox. #BMWM4GT3EVO #M4GT3EVO #M4G82 -------------------------------------------------------------------- I have to thank my friend and youtuber @Italiansupercarvideo for the great collaboration done. For 2022 Audi Sport unveiled a second evolution package of their GT3-class car which was focused on improving aerodynamics, chassis and traction control. Unlike the previous 'Evo' version which used mainly the rear diffuser to generate downforce, the Evo II uses the new rear wing to achieve the desired levels of downforce. New suspensions and improved traction control with greater possibilities of intervention have been introduced on the Evo II. The engine is still the 5.2-litre V10 engine but it also received a little upgrade, consisting of a new air intake which aims to improve torque delivery. #AudiR8GT3Evo2 #R8GT3Evo2 #AudiSport ------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- Subscribe to my 2nd channel here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3XVG02cKYsLyUUewv-qkoQ You can also find and follow me on: - Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/19bozzy92/ - Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/19Bozzy92YT - Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ste19bozzy92/ Camcorder: Canon Legria HF GX10 + Canon DM-100 Microphone Event: Gedlich Racing - Race Test Days 2022 Where: Autodromo Nazionale Monza, Italy Link To My Channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/19Bozzy92 THANKS FOR WATCHING AND SUBSCRIBE!!!
