The 6.0L V12 Naturally Aspirated Monster (sharing the engine with the Ferrari Enzo) displayed its capabilites on the German Hillclimb and almost broke its all time Touring Car Record but ended up having a minor crash as seen on the video. With over 650Hp and weighing only 1200Kg, the Rear Wheel drive, Mid-engined Italian Monster here is a tremendously successful Race Car having won 5 straight GT1 Teams' Championship between 2005 and 2009. Still an incredibly quick machine, this is probably one of the very last opportunities the public had to see this machine being driven in anger.

Well Hyundai has the answer - meet Australia’s cheapest EV, the Hyundai Ioniq. The Ioniq is actually three cars in one. Hyundai is offering a fully electric, plug-in hybrid and regular hybrid. It means you can choose the eco-friendly option that best suits you budget and needs. The South Korean brand has been aggressive in its pricing strategy, undercutting the Renault Zoe with a starting price of $44,490 for the entry-grade Ioniq Electric Elite and $48,990 for the top-spec Premium. This is the heart Ioniq EV - an electric motor with 88kW and 295Nm. Hyundai claims a real world range of 230km. If the price of the electric Ioniq or you can’t make the leap to a full EV, then the Plug-in and hybrid models are a cheaper option. The Plug-in range starts at $40,990 while the conventional hybrid kicks off the range at $33,990. This car has intrigued me ever since it launched in LA at the end of last year so I'm excited to see how it performs on ice and on the road. The Porsche 911 Dakar is limited to 2,500 examples, shows that there are hardly any limits to the concept of the Porsche 911. The 911 Dakar pays homage the first overall victory by Porsche in the Paris-Dakar Rally of 1984, an event that also marked the birth of all-wheel drive in the Porsche 911. One thing that immediately stands out is the ground clearance of the 911 Dakar: It is 50 millimetres higher than that of a 911 Carrera equipped with sports suspension. In addition, the standard lift system can raise the ride height by a further 30 mm. Its ground clearance and ramp angle rival those of conventional SUVs. The lift system is not designed merely for driving over obstacles at low speeds, but rather it is an integral part of the re-tuned suspension. The ‘high level’ setting is available for off-road adventures at speeds of up to 170 km/h. Above that speed, the car automatically lowers back down to its normal level. Additional characteristic features of the 911 Dakar include the newly developed, fixed lightweight rear spoiler made of CFRP, and the CFRP front luggage compartment lid with striking-looking air vents taken from the 911 GT3. There are also standard-fit off-road details such as the red aluminium towing eyes at the front and back, the widened wheel wells and sills, and the stainless steel protective elements on the front, rear and side sills. The side air intakes on the redesigned front end are also protected against stone chips by stainless steel grilles. Carbon-fibre reinforced plastic, CFRP full bucket seats, omitting the rear seats, lightweight glass and a lightweight battery reduce its weight further, enabling the Porsche 911 Dakar to weigh in at just 1,605 kg – a mere 10 kg heavier than the 911 Carrera 4 GTS with PDK. The 3.0-litre biturbo six-cylinder engine with 353 kW (480 PS) and a maximum torque of 570 Newton metres delivers superior performance with a compelling boxer sound. It propels the sports car from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 240 km/h (limited by the all-terrain tyres). Power transmission in the all-wheel drive sports car is provided by an eight-speed PDK. The standard equipment also includes rear-axle steering, the exceptionally performance-oriented engine mounts from the 911 GT3 and the PDCC anti-roll stabilisation. Maximum off-road performance is also ensured by two new driving modes (in addition to Normal, Wet and Sport), which can be selected using the rotary dial on the steering wheel. Rallye mode is ideal for loose surfaces and features rear-biased all-wheel drive. Offroad mode automatically operates at a raised ride height and with a significantly stiffer differential locking effect. The focus is directed at maximum traction in dunes or on hard, uneven ground. Both of the new driving modes also feature the new Rallye Launch Control, which allows wheel slippage of around 20 per cent. At the heart of the optional Rallye Design Package is a two-tone paint finish in White/Gentian Blue Metallic. Porsche is offering two-tone paintwork as standard for the first time. The red and gold stripes are applied by hand in Zuffenhausen in the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. On the side of the car, the customer can choose an individual race number between 0 and 999. In addition to the red and gold rally stripes, the 911 Dakar with Rallye Design Package – the appearance of which is based on the winning vehicle of the 1984 Paris-Dakar Rally – also bears the ‘Roughroads’ lettering on the doors. The term is a registered trademark and reflects the concept of the 911 Dakar and its suitability for driving off road. The white-painted rims and the red taillight strip, in contrast to the standard 911, round off the distinctive appearance. Further highlights can be found in the interior: the interior trims and the decorative inlays on the dashboard and the interior door handle are in Ceramica White. There is also extended Race-Tex and leather surrounds as well as seat belts and accents in Shark Blue.     • Using hyperbole to describe the 1964 Ferrari 250 GTO is unnecessary. The car speaks for itself. It is one of the last (of thirty-six) Ferrari GTOs ever built. This particular one, chassis #5571, was the first of the Series II bodies. The 3.0L V-12 produces about 300 horsepower and it completed multiple endurance races, winning its class in the Daytona Continental 2000km (this car's first race), Sebring 12 hour, and Nassau TT. The driver is Mr. Derek Hill, who won the Ferrari Challenge International Championship in 1995 and the Formula Dodge West Coast in 1996, and raced a Bugatti EB110 at Le Mans. Additionally, he has a special attachment to this car as it was his dad, Fomula One Champ Phil Hill, that raced it in Daytona and Nassau. But what is the car really like? Well, "It's so hard to describe just how incredible it is to drive this car at speed. I mean, it's really a certain kind of ecstasy."     • Viele Fakten zum neuen Opel Mokka gibt es noch nicht, aber nun kann ich euch das neue Fahrzeug endlich zeigen. Dazu gesellen sich dann noch die bis dato bekannten Informationen! Lehnt euch also zurück und genießt gemeinsam mit mir, die Wiedergeburt einer ehemals so starken Marke. Das hier, ist der Anfang - der Anfang einer Erfolgswelle - da bin ich mir ziemlich sicher. Also, was wissen wir? Wir haben ein SUV. Sprich wir haben eine hohe Sitzposition, auch wenn es den neuen Mokka auch mit klassischen, also fossilen, Antrieben geben wird, kommt das Fahrzeug auch mit einem E-Antrieb. 100 kW - Leistung! 136 PS und 260 Newtonmeter Drehmoment. Den Antrieb kennen wir schon? Richtig! Aus dem Konzern! Alles entspannt also an dieser Seite. Wie schon im Teaser-Video angesprochen zeigt der Opel Mokka das neue, moderne Markengesicht. Unter uns? Wenn die das wirklich durchziehen, dann ärgert man sich bei GM aber doppelt und dreifach schwarz, denn das Design gefällt mir ausgesprochen gut. Ich freue mich jetzt schon auf die kommenden Astra und Corsa-Modelle. Der neue Mokka ist mit einer Länge von 4,15 genau 12,5 Zentimeter kürzer als die Vorgängergeneration und Opel ist es wichtig, dass ihr nun wisst, dass der Radstand dennoch um 2 mm - ich wiederhole - 2 mm verlängert wurde. Der neue Mokka kommt also mit viel kürzeren Überhängen (an der Front 61 Millimeter und am Heck 66 Millimeter weniger), dafür 10 Millimeter breiter und mit einer optisch gestreckten Silhouette für die laut Opel perfekten Proportionen. Dadurch stechen die 18-Zoll-Räder kraftvoller denn je hervor. Der Mokka bietet Platz für fünf Personen, wobei ich hinten in der Mitte nicht sitzen mag, und ein Ladevolumen von bis zu 350 Liter. Der Innenraum präsentiert sich digitalisiert und gut vernetzt. Wie immer lassen sich die wichtigsten Dinge nach wie vor über Bedientasten steuern, so dass der Fahrer nicht durch die Suche in Untermenüs abgelenkt wird. Alle Mokka-Modelle verfügen bereits serienmäßig über LED-Lampen an Front und Heck, eine elektrische Parkbremse und Verkehrsschilderkennung. Auf Wunsch sind weitere Hightech-Systeme wie der Automatische Geschwindigkeits-Assistent ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control), der aktive Spurhalte-Assistent sowie die 180‑Grad-Panorama-Rückfahrkamera oder aber auch die blendfreie Lichtautomatik verfügbar. Als erstes Modell in der Opel-Geschichte fährt der neue Mokka direkt ab Marktstart elektrisch vor. Ihr kennt die Vorteile der Elektromobilität, oder? Unmittelbares Ansprechverhalten, Agilität und Dynamik! Dazu fast lautlos und lokal emissionslos. Der Fahrer kann je nach Bedarf und Laune zwischen den drei Fahrstufen Normal, Eco und Sport wählen. Die elektronisch begrenzte Höchstgeschwindigkeit liegt bei 150 km/h, um den Verbrauch der gespeicherten Energie zu schonen und die Reichweite zu gewährleisten. Im Normal-Modus lassen sich im Mokka‑e bis zu 322 Kilometer gemäß WLTP-Zyklus, und dieser Wert ist vorläufig, zurücklegen. Mit Eco lässt sich die Reichweite weiter optimieren. An einer 100 kW-Gleichstrom-Säule (dafür ist der Mokka-e serienmäßig ausgerüstet) kann die 50 kWh-Batterie in 30 Minuten per Schnellladung bis zu 80 Prozent wieder aufgeladen werden. Egal ob Wall Box, High-Speed-Charging oder Kabellösung für die Haushaltssteckdose – der neue Mokka-e ist auf alle Ladeoptionen vom einphasigen bis zum dreiphasigen Laden mit 11 kW vorbereitet. Was mich eher überzeugt ist eine 8-Jahres Garantie auf die Batterie, denn die dürfte ja immer noch die Schwachstelle im System bzw. das Bauteil sein, welches am ehesten Probleme macht und dann schnell ins Geld geht. Hier nimmt Opel dem Käufer also für 8 Jahre die Sorgen - das sorgt für weniger Sorgenfalten. Preis? Hab ich noch nicht! Aber es muss bald soweit sein, denn ab Spätsommer 2020 sollen sich die Bestellbücher öffnen, ab 2021 soll der neue Mokka / der neue Opel Mokka-e im Handel stehen und neben dem Elektroantrieb kommt dieses Fahrzeug auch mit Benzin- und Dieselaggregaten.

Much of the chrome appears to have been re-plated at that time though there appears to be some original pieces too. In general the automobile is very appealing and entirely rust-free. Originally a California car, this gorgeous Thunderbird was brought back by T-Bird restoration professional Ken Harkema of Ken's Classics Vintage Thunderbird Sales & Service of Spring Valley, California in the early 2000's for a local customer. According to Ken he did extensive work with this automobile - rebuilding the motor, top relay conversion, paint, chrome and interior. This Wixom, Michigan constructed Thunderbird runs perfectly with it's rebuilt, 390ci 4V V-8 and the C6 Cruise-O-Matic transmission shifts properly and exactly.
