DB11 est la nouvelle figure de proue de la lignée illustre « DB » et une authentique GT sportive dans la plus pure tradition Aston Martin. Un nouveau moteur V12 de 5,2 litres bi-turbo en est le coeur. Construite sur une nouvelle structure en aluminium collé plus légère et plus rigide, cette DB11 est le modèle DB le plus puissant dans l’histoire d’Aston Martin. En tant que tel, il est le plus important nouvelle Aston Martin depuis l’introduction de la DB9 en 2003. La dernière voiture véritablement nouvelle lancée par Aston Martin était la Vanquish 2 mise sur le marché en 2012. La Vanquish était basée sur la plateforme VH et le V12 atmosphérique de 5935 cm3 développant 576 chevaux dans sa dernière mouture.
