The Corrado (code name "Typ 53i") is a model of the German car maker VW. It is the successor of the Scirocco (Typ 53B) and was in production from 1988 to 1995. In total, 97,521 units of the "Typ 53i" generation were built. In 2008 it was superseded by the Scirocco (Typ 13).
