  • Peugeot 205 Rally Car
    • Taken at an annual event, the Any Given Reason Burger Meet. This year it was held at the Lazy Ballerina winery near McLaren Vale, South Australia. Lighting was perfect for photos, but I ended up meeting an old friend whom I hadn't seen in ages, so this is the only pic that I took! This is a blend of 4 images, essentially to extract the most detail from the sun flare. Blending initially done in EnfuseGui (LR plugin) then further blending / tweaking done manually in Photoshop CC (along with Nik Color Efex filters).

    • Sunburst. The HQ Holden was built from July 1971-Oct 1974. The HQ was the most significant redesign yet. a completely new body and chassis, coil suspension. Available in Sedan, 2 door Coupe (Monaro), Wagon, Utility, Panel Van and the new Statesman. The base model was the Belmont, mid spec was the Kingswood, and top was the Premier. Performance cars were SS, Monaro GTS and GTS350 The new Monaro coupe design had a much larger rear window and a squarer rear quarter window. The base model got the 118hp 173 cu in 6 cyl (V8 an option). The new LS (Luxury Sports) got the Premier 4 headlight front and luxury Premier interior, standard 135hp 202 (V8 option) The sporty GTS got full instrumentation, sports steering wheel, bucket seats, sports wheels, side guard vents and GTS grille. Engines were either the 185hp 253 or 240hp 308 V8. The rare GTS 350, (only 404 built) got the 275hp Chev 350. When the 4 door Monaro was introduced in 1973, all Monaros got the bonnet and boot paint outs so not be mistaken for the humble Kingswood sedan

  • 2009 Subaru Impreza WRX STi Sedan
    • Subaru's first car. the Subaru 1500 was introduced in 1954, only 20 were built. The Impreza was introduced in 1992 to replace the Subaru Leone. Subaru offered both front and all-wheel drive versions of the Impreza, the performance version was the WRX. The third generation was built from 2007-11, were slightly longer, standard width bodies were the GE 4 door Sedan and GH 5 door Hatchback, in R, RX, RS and early WRX models. The WRX STI and the standard WRX from 2010 on were 56mm wider; 4 door Sedan (GV) and 5 door Hatchback (GR) 2010 saw a mild facelift with a new grille insert. The WRX features rally inspired technology, including all wheel drive, stiffened suspensions and turbocharged engines. The numbered STi versions got blueprinted performance-tuned engines, transmissions, and suspensions. Engines; Flat 4 cyl; 80kw 1.5, 110kw 2.0, 127kw 2.5 and 169kw turbo 2.5 (WRX), 198kw in 2009, 221kw STI

From 1960, the Studebaker was not only built in the US, but Australia as well The Studebaker Avanti was a personal luxury coupe built only between June 1962 and December 1963, less than 6000 were built. The Avanti featured a radical fiberglass body design mounted on a modified Studebaker Lark Daytona 109-inch convertible chassis with a modified 289 Hawk engine, instead of a conventional grille, air for the front mounted engine enters from under the front of the vehicle.
