His Swedish hypercar company currently builds the Jesko (which has just set the 0-400km/h-0 record) and it’ll soon start delivering the new CC850 and Gemera to customers. That’s three distinct models, each with their own head-scratchingly complex innovations. And yet, amongst all this, he said “yes” to a request from a customer who wanted their older-model Agera RS melded with the best bits of a Jesko and CC850 to create an absolute one-off. Many engineering headaches later we have this, the Chimera, which blends an Agera RS with the 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine from a Jesko and the fiendishly complex manual-cum-automatic gearbox from the CC850. All Chryslers (as well as large Plymouth and Dodges) were now built on an all-new C-body unibody platform which featured a bolt-on, rubber-isolated front sub frame. Elwood Engel designed the '65 New Yorker (and all Chrysler models) with styling cues from his 1961 Lincoln Continental — square side view with chrome trim along the top edges of the fenders. The options were: a 413 CID V8, dual pipe exhaust and power options (A/C, windows, antenna and steering). The engine itself put out 375 hp (280 kW) and was phased out for the 440 Firepower next model year. The styling began to share some visual similarities with the premium luxury sedan Imperial which received an all-new appearance in 1964. Factory options for 1965 included a 350 hp 413 ci Firepower engine, vinyl rear roof pillar insert, Saginaw-sourced Tilt 'N Telescopic steering wheel and standard power options. For 1965, the 4-door sedan used the six-window Town Sedan style which also used by the 1965 Chrysler Newport and Dodge Custom 880. The two-door hardtop was now sold in the U.S. Wheelbase of New Yorker models, except the wagon, was 124 in (3,100 mm). The Town & Country wagon was on the Dodge's 121 in (3,100 mm) wheelbase as all C body wagons shared the same basic body. Die siebente New Yorker Generation wurde 1964 eingeführt. Mat’s got his hands on this glorious Porsche and he’s about to find out if it’s the ultimate car on sale from Porsche’s GT division! So for starters, let’s take a look at how this car differs from the standard Boxster that it’s based on. Up top it comes with a more aggressive bumper, a big front splitter and a carbon fibre bonnet. The car we have here also has the Weissach pack fitted to it, so it comes with loads of exposed carbon across the car. Head around to the back and you’ll find the traditional Porsche GT exhaust layout, as well as a fixed ducktail spoiler. Let’s face it, it looks fantastic! Head inside and you’ll find a pair of carbon fibre bucket seats, some fabric door handles, and Alcantara on the steering wheel and gear stick. The centre console and dash design is traditional Porsche, however the Weissach pack brings a few more differences to the standard car, including more exposed carbon throughout the cabin and Alcantara across the upper dash. The Spyder RS is powered by the same glorious motorsport-derived 4-litre naturally-aspirated flat-six as you’ll find in the GT4 RS, 911 GT3 & GT3 RS. It sounds absolutely incredible, and it puts down 500hp and 450Nm. This power is sent to the rear wheels only via a 7-speed PDK automatic gearbox. It’s absolutely epic!! The car starts from £123,000, although the version we have here, with the Weissach pack and a few other additions, will set you back around £138,000. So what do you think - is it worth it? And is it the best car from Porsche’s GT division? You’ll need to stick with Mat and see for yourself! Porsche has unveiled an updated version of its class-leading sports car, but this is no ordinary facelift. For the first time ever, the 911 has gone hybrid! So apart from the changes under the skin, let’s see what else has been updated. Thankfully, not too much! Around the front, you’ll find a new set of LED matrix headlights, as well as an updated front bumper. Within it, you’ll find 5 vertical fins on each side, and these can open and close depending on whether the radiator needs cooling. There are new alloy wheel designs to choose from, and around the rear, you’ll find a tweaked light bar, as well as new vents behind the windscreen and a new rear bumper. Step inside and there’s one notable change - the analogue rev counter has gone, with a fully digital driver display fitted instead. It looks pretty smart and comes with lots of different options, but it’s just not the same as a traditional rev counter! Otherwise, the interior is every bit as smart as you’d expect from a 911, with soft-touch materials throughout and a large infotainment screen on the dash. When it comes to performance, only the new GTS comes as a hybrid. It’s now powered by a 3.6-litre flat-six with a single turbo, and this combines with the electric motor to produce 541hp and 610Nm of torque - that’s 61hp more than the previous GTS! Porsche claims it will be able to hit 60mph in just 3 seconds, and it also comes with a top speed of 194mph. The new 911 range starts from £99,800. But if you’re looking to get your hands on the GTS, it will set you back at least £132,600! The question is, if you could, would you pay it?
