When I was originally shopping for a car with the V12 some XJ coupes and e types made the list and those were available with carbs. The wording in the engine section about choosing the XJS based on FI may seem confusing and poorly worded. I just wanted to clarify.** The Jaguar XJS was out of favour amongst enthusiasts and collectors for the last decade and a half but I think now is the time to grab one of these time capsules of a bygone era before they are too pricey to consider. Hand-polished figured sapwood veneers and a hardwood gearknob complement the interior and the Celebration model specific wooden steering wheel and Jaguar Leaper embossed seats remain true to this special edition. The headlining is tight and clean and completely free from common sagging issues. The electric clock is temperamental. All the controls, switches and gauges function perfectly including the cruise control system and the factory fitted stereo unit with six disc changer. The carpeted boot area shows minimal use with tools present. True Jaguar indulgence.   • 10 Facts // Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII 8
    • 1) The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8 is a front engine, all wheel drive car that was made from 2003-2005. 2) It is powered by a turbocharged 2 liter inline 4 cylinder 4G63 engine. Producing 271hp and 286tq. 3) All evo 8’s came a with manual transmissions, no automatics were available. 4) The 05 evo came with a slightly larger turbo than the 03 and 04 models. (10.5T vs 9.8) The 05 evo also had an Active Center Differential (ACD), while the 03 and 04’s did not. 5) 3 evo 8 trims were available. The base trim commonly known as the GSR. The lightweight trim known as the RS, and the touring trim known as the MR. In 2003, only the base model evo was available. In 2004, the RS trim was added in addition to the the GSR trim. and the 2005 model year feature all three trim levels. 6) The RS trim did everything in the way of weight saving. This means manual windows and locks, no radio, no sound deadening, no ABS, and no rear wing. Also, all RS models had an aluminum roof, front limited slip differential, and black door handles. 7) MR trims can be identified by a 6 speed transmission, aluminum roof, BBS wheels, accessory gauges, bilstein shocks, and a vortex generator. 8) The Sun Sound and Leather package or “SSL” was all an option that started in 2004. SSL packages included the addition of a power sunroof, trunk mounted subwoofer, and leather seats. 9) the 03 and 04 models came with an intercooler sprayer. This option was considered useless by most evo owners. 10) All 03 evo 8’s came with HID headlights. 04 & 05 GSR trims did not have HID's unless you got the SSL package. No RS trim evo's came with HID's. GSR -5-speed, standard model RS - rallisport, 5-speed, aluminum roof, gauge pack, minimal interior SE - Special Edition, 5-speed, aluminum roof/hood, and front fenders, split seven-spoke forged aluminum BBS wheels in "diamond black" finish, HID headlights with integrated fog lights, red-stitched Recaro seats (ONLY EVO 9’s had SE) MR - 6-speed, Bilstein monotube shocks, split seven-spoke forged aluminum BBS wheels, aluminum roof, hood, and front fenders, gauge pack, HID headlights with integrated fog lights, vortex generator, and custom MR badging. In comparison with the Diablo GT, GTR most important features are a modified chassis frame with integrated roll bar, improved suspensions, central fixing nut for the rims, race braking systems, additional radiators for transmission oil cooling, very high-performance rear wing (directly bolted to chassis), simplified interiors and weight reductions. The engine is basically the same V12, 6 litre, of the Diablo GT which thanks to the adaption of the specially tuned exhaust system, without catalyses, delivers 590 hp (575 in the GT model)

    • 2018 Audi R8 Spyder V10 RWS - Drive, Interior and Exterior. The V10 mid-mounted engine of the Audi R8 V10 RWS delivers 397 kW (540 hp). It delivers its maximum torque of 540 Nm (398.3 lb-ft) at 6,500 revolutions per minute. The 5.2 FSI engine accelerates the Coupé from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in 3.7 seconds (Spyder: 3.8 seconds) and reaches a top speed of 320 km/h (198.8 mph) (Spyder: 318 km/h [197.6 mph]). The new Audi R8 Coupe V10 RWS weighs 1,590 kilograms (3,505.3 lb) (curb weight without driver). That is 50 kilograms (110.2 lb) less than the Audi R8 Coupe V10 with quattro drive, which needs additional components compared to the rear-wheel drive variant, such as a cardan shaft, multi-plate clutch and front-axle differential. The R8 Spyder V10 RWS is 40 kilograms (88.2 lb) lighter than the R8 Spyder V10, tipping the scales at 1,680 kilograms (3703.8 lb) (curb weight without driver). The axle load distribution of 40.6:59.4 (Coupé) or 40.4:59.6 (Spyder), and a suspension and dynamic handling system specially adapted to the rear-wheel drive, ensure tremendous driving pleasure. The suspension setup and the control systems enable controlled drifts. To perform these maneuvers, the driver selects “dynamic” in the Audi drive select dynamic handling system, which is fitted as standard, and activates ESC sport mode. When the limit is reached, the ESC stability control will engage safely. The electromechanical power steering enables precise handling. The puristic character of the new R8 variant is accentuated by the matte black single-frame grille and the matte black air openings at the front and rear. The upper side blade (on the Coupé) is painted in glossy black, while the lower blade is the same color as the vehicle. As with the Audi R8 LMS GT4, the Audi R8 V10 RWS Coupé also comes with the option of a racing stripe in Misano Red that runs over the bonnet, roof and rear. In the vehicle interior, the driver and passenger sit on sport seats. These are covered with leather and Alcantara. Bucket seats are available on request. The dashboard bears an emblem that reads “1 of 999” – a reference to the limited quantity of this vehicle. The new Audi R8 V10 RWS has been available to order in Germany and other European countries since fall of 2017, and is on the road since early 2018.

The Ferrari Portofino features Variable Boost Management, a control software developed by Ferrari that adjusts torque delivery to suit the gear selected. As the car goes up through the gears (from 3rd to 7th), the amount of torque delivered by the engine increases all the way up to 760 Nm.
