    • The Toyota GR Yaris has been a smash hit for Toyota. It needed to make 25,000 cars with this body style to homologate it for rallying but has already made 32,000 and counting. Hence there is budget, and opportunity, for a facelift. And here it is, in prototype form. We've got full details of all the technical changes to the car, which includes more power and the option of an automatic gearbox. But there's much more to it than just the numbers. We've also driven the car on circuit in both manual and automatic form. (Also: VERY SORRY about the sound quality. We've been chasing an issue with some kit and, ultimately, have decided to replace it. Won't happen again.) And below are some tech details. We don't know how much the new GR Yaris will cost yet. At the moment it's £35,705 including the Circuit Pack, which will effectively become the only variant. Production starts in April and UK customers will get first cars in June.   • The Zenvo TSR-S is the ANGRIEST BRUTE! | REVIEW
    • The Zenvo TSR-S is a veritable brute, so let's take a proper explore and first ride in it to find out a bit more! Introduced just last month, the TSR-S is Zenvo's most aggressive road car, with no luxuries to be found like aircon, a radio, or even airbags, but rather almost 1,200 horsepower from a twin supercharged V8 and the most incredible rear wing you have ever seen. Zenvo took the wraps off the TSR-S at the 2018 Geneva Motorshow, presenting a completely original rear wing design concept. With the road TS1 GT having undergone a transformation into the TSR for the track only, that car now moves back to the street in its most hardcore configuration. With the engine and body all built in house by Zenvo in Denmark, it's powered by a 5.8 litre twin supercharged V8 that kicks out 1,177hp and around 1,180Nm of torque. 0-200km/h is dispatched in 6.8s and the top speed is limited to 325km/h. For the TSR-S, Zenvo also introduced variable settings related to the driving experience; including Road and Race modes for the dog leg sequential gearbox, and power modes to alternate from 700hp at one end, to the full end of the spectrum at the other, with an IQ mode in the middle to adjust based on available traction. During Top Marques Monaco, I'm lucky enough to be able to take a good look at the car before joining company founder, Troels Vollertsen to experience a short ride from the passenger seat in their new hypercar.     • There are certain modifications that make no sense and then there are some that really just do, like this! AC Schnitzer have installed an S55 engine from the BMW M4 into a 'normal' 235i, and taken power up to a mere 570PS and 740Nm in the process. It may not look like any standard 2 Series, but the ACL2 is clearly something quite extraordinary, built as a one-off. Afterwards we head to take a look in the workshop at the ACS2 Sport, an M2 package that includes cosmetic modifications as well as a 60PS bump to 430PS. With some of the best hypercars on show inside a fantastic garage, we can explore and check out his unique and special line-up. With a bias towards Ferrari, and a collection that includes the lineage of 288 GTO, F40, F50, Enzo and LaFerrari, they stand out because not one car is 'standard' so to speak. Equally, the collection includes a second Enzo, as well as the ultra rare F40 LM! Next to the cars from Maranello, we also have the 1-of-20 Lamborghini Reventon and two in the classic corner; the Miura S and 275 GTB. Heading out to the supercar room, we can again find some very rare cars including the Lamborghini Gallardo Squadra Corse (1-of-50) and the Nismo GT-R N Attack. Further back we also find a 599 GTO, Speciale, prototype Countach and then in the other garages the original 1991 Lamborghini Formula 1 car! One is the 2021 Mercedes-Benz S-Class, the one they throw all the technology at to make it widely regarded as the best big saloon/sedan/whatever you'd like to call it. S-Classes come with all kinds of engine, right up to and including very powerful petrol ones, but this is a little more straightforward - it's an S400d. Actually an engine that suits it rather well. It costs £104,425, has 330hp and more importantly a mammoth cruising range. The other car is still relatively new too, and it's more expensive and luxurious still. It's a Bentley Flying Spur and as a W12 it costs £168,300 and has 635bhp - figures both rather bigger than the S-Class's, but don't let semantics get in the way - more expensive S-Classes are available and a cheaper Flying Spurs are too (besides, there's a reason for the mis-match explained in the vid). Which gets us to the core of issue of the Flying Spur. Or perhaps the best thing about it. It all depends on your perspective. Because there isn’t that much strictly new on the new Flying Spur. The great new infotainment system that’s new to Flying Spur looks amazing with a large touch-screen interface controlling virtually everything is the same we’ve seen on the new Continental GT. The three sided revolving facia that can deliver the so-called “digital-detox” by hiding the screen away in favour of a wood finish alone or a set of analogue dials was first shown off last year. Bar that 3D leather it all feel very familiar indeed. Familiar also is the engine. The 6-liter twin-turbocharged W12 now delivers 626 horsepower and 664 pounds-feet of torque which it certainly needs to make use of to shift its not inconsiderable 5373 lbs of mass. From standing start the Flying Spur can hit 60mph in 3.7 seconds and it will keep on going to 207 mph. Power is delivered to all four wheels through the ZF 8-speed dual-clutch transmission that also found its way into the Continental GT and is the same as the PDK you can find in the current generation Porsche Panamera. That’s not the only similarity to its Stuttgart sibling, Panamera, Continental GT and Flying Spur all also share a chassis. There’s a 48V active anti-roll bar which we first saw on the Bentayga and now also on the Continental GT as well as new three-chamber air suspension. The Flying Spur is fairly large at over 17 feet in length but the rear-wheel steer (a first for Bentley and one feature that is unique to the Spur) helps out massively when negotiating the incredibly cramped and twisty roads of the tiny principality. With the rear wheels counter-steering at slow speed the wheel base actually felt no longer than the Continental hiding the bulk of the Flying Spur effectively. Once out in the mountains the rear-wheel steer continued to make hairpins a breeze. It seems like ironic, the one thing that’s truly unique to the Flying Spur makes it feel more like a Continental. The ample torque available can hurtle the Flying Spur off the line towards the horizon effortlessly and the weight of the car is all but forgotten until its time to hit the brakes. There’s a reason the Flying Spur has been fitted with the largest steel brakes ever fitted to a production car and the Flying Spur uses every last bit of them to efficiently bring its bulk back to a halt. The 48V anti-roll bar in keeps the Flying Spur controlled though faster tight corners but my preference was to dial back the suspension to one of its softer modes to help manage the shift of mass when really going for it. The steering has enough weight to make a challenging drive feel controlled but it’s light enough under normal driving to make driving feel effortless. Under everything but the most spirited of drives the “B” option on the mode dial which gives you the automatically adapting mode gives a perfectly balanced and comfortable ride. Leave the car in that mode and you’ll rarely be disappointed as the Flying Spur reacts to your inputs and gives you its interpretation of what you need. Use the Flying Spur on long drives and you’re rewarded with exquisite comfort in some of the best seats the car industry has ever made. Spec the optional Naim audio system and you have one of the best sounding infotainment set-ups money can buy. There is a small amount of the dynamism of the GT that has been lost in the translation to the saloon form factor. A touch less response from the steering, a little more laborious under braking but in general it’s remarkable how similar they feel. Which might be the biggest compliment you could give any car today. The Flying Spur has lifted most of its new features from the rest of the Bentley stable and the result is a car that drives, and feels extremely familiar. This can’t be seen as anything less than a good thing when the cars it borrows from, Continental GT, Bentayga and Porsche Panamera, are themselves so great. But where those three cars do feel very distinct from each other, the Flying Spur does feel like it’s trying to deliver the same balance between a dynamic ride and extreme luxurious comfort as the Continental GT. Although it falls slightly short of achieving that fully, the added advantages of a luxurious rear seating experience more than make up for it.

Using a RaceLogic Vbox system to monitor and record the data gives us the genuine readout of what was achieved. For comparison, the fastest I achieved in the McLaren 675LT on the same day and conditions was 3.0 seconds.
