    • This is the Ferrari P80/C, a unique product from Ferrari's Special Projects team based on the 488 GT3 racecar, and you can join me now for a completely exclusive opportunity to discover it! Let's take a look at all of the details of this bespoke machine before heading to the hillclimb with Sam Bird at the wheel for the full experience. As Ferrari's 36th such project, the P80/C is the result of 5-6 years work between the customer and the design and engineering teams. Having started life working from the 488 GT3 prototype, the new carbon fibre bodywork takes inspiration from the 330 P3/4 while incorporating a lower roofline and both Attack and Concours configurations. As you see it here, the car features the high rear wing and 18" race wheels; but it can also be set up without the wing and fitted with 21" display wheels too for different types of shows. The appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed is actually its very first outing, and certainly for a dynamic display to the public. The owner of the car very kindly invited me to jump onboard to share the car with you and give a sense of what it's like. At this moment in time it made me the first person to have such an opportunity and I cannot thank him enough for this. The most Lamborghiniest of Lamborghinis is presented here in full carbon with yellow highlights, one of just 20 in Coupe form being made (with an additional 20 Roadsters inbound too). It maintains the 6.5l V12 from the Aventador with power posted to 770hp and 690Nm of torque. At the wheel we have Lamborghini driver, Max Venturi, piloting the 7-figure hypercar as it flies up the track with me along for the ride. With the experience flying by in a blur I had a brief opportunity to have a play with the in car entertainment and telemetry functionality but mostly take in the epic noise that naturally aspirated V12 continues to make. The sheer ferocity with which it moves and especially the way the gearbox shifts, sends a serious sense of intent through your spine. Needless to say, what an experience, this is a crazy car! But in this 3-door hot hatch Cooper S derivative it still feels like arguably the purest kind of Mini to us. The latest Mini Cooper S makes 175bhp and 207lb ft from its generously-sized 2.0-litre turbocharged engine. That lets it hit 0-62mph in 6.8sec and gives it a top speed of 146mph. It'll return 43.5-45.6mpg and has a CO2 output of 140-148g/km. Those are the headline numbers.   • How good is the new Porsche 911 GT3? Full track review of '992' series road racer | Autocar
    • This is the new 2021 Porsche 911 GT3. And it is different: bigger, faster ... better? We'll see. The big news with this latest GT3, based on the '992' series 911, is that it has double wishbone front suspension, rather than a MacPherson strut, for the first time in the 911's history. It also has a fancy array of aerodynamics including a swan-neck mount for the rear wing. Elsewhere things are more familiar. As with its 991 predecessor, it has a 4.0-litre flat six engine, though now making 503bhp (510hp), and driving through either a manual or a PDK twin-clutch automatic gearbox, (the auto is tested here). Performance is mega. It'll do 0-62mph in 3.4sec and has a top speed of 198mph (199mph as a manual). And, if you're counting, fuel consumption is 21.7-21.9mph and it emits 283-304g/km of CO2.   • NEW V-16 Bugatti Tourbillon: All the details of the 1800hp HYPERCAR | Henry Catchpole
    • This is the new Bugatti Tourbillon, the successor to the Veyron and the Chiron, due to be delivered in 2026. Its looks are very much evolution rather than revolution but unlike its predecessors the Tourbillon doesn’t have a turbocharged W16 engine, instead it has a naturally aspirated, 8.3-litre V16 developed with Cosworth. This produces 1000hp on its own but in conjunction with three electric motors the Tourbillon has a combined hybrid system output of 1800hp (1775bhp). As you can hear in this video, it is a pretty incredible sounding engine, revving to 9000rpm. It’s a distinctive sound too and for comparison we’ve included the soundtracks of a couple of its naturally aspirated hypercar rivals - the 6.5-litre V12 from the Aston Martin Valkyrie and the 3.9-litre V12 from the GMA T.50 (both also developed with Cosworth). Bugatti’s Director of Design, Frank Heyl, talks Henry Catchpole around all the fascinating exterior details of the 3.8mIllion Euro Tourbillon but we think the interior is perhaps even more spectacular. With clear influence and inspiration taken from mechanical watches the titanium dials are wonders to behold. The steering wheel is pretty crazy too… And talking of watches, the car’s name, Tourbillon, means whirlwind in French, but it is a word widely associated with a complicated mechanism found in watches. As Henry explains, with the help of a Ulysse Nardin, it was invented in 1795 to negate the impact of gravity and improve the accuracy of timekeeping in pocket watches. Of course, this being a Bugatti, it is incredibly fast, with a top speed of 276mph (445kph). It is also capable of 0-62mph in 2sec, 0-124mph in under 5sec, 0-186mph in under 10sec and 0-248mph in under 25sec. But in the age of the hyper EV and cars like the the Bugatti’s cousin, the Rimac Nevera, pure performance doesn’t seem to carry the sway that it once did, so where does that leave the Tourbillon? Catchpole thinks that the answer can be found in the quartz crisis of the 1970s and what followed. We hope you enjoy this film on the Bugatti Tourbillon. This is a luxury sports/GT car that has 631bhp from its twin-turbocharged V8 engine, which drives the rear wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.   • Ferrari SF90 Review | UK track and road test of 1000hp hypercar | Autocar
    • This is the new Ferrari SF90 and it has a full 1000hp. That's 986bhp to non-metric old-school brake horsepower fans but whichever way you cut it, it's a shed load of power. It has a lot of firsts for Ferrari. the SF90 is Ferrari's first plug-in hybrid. It is its first four-wheel drive mid-engined supercar. It's also it's first road car with this amount of power, which sticks it right into hypercar territory, if you make such distinctions. It comes in two variants, standard (such as it is) and with an Assetto Fiorano package - lighter and keener, with passive Multimatic dampers, titanium springs and exhaust, and more aero. This car has that package, more on which in a moment. Straight-line performance is spectacular. This is a car that can do 0-62mph (0-100kph) in just 2.5 seconds and has a top speed of 211mph. Such frantic acceleration from rest is made possible by the fact it's 4wd. It has two electric motors on the front axle and another between the engine and gearbox, assisting the 4.0-litre twin turbocharged 90-degree V8 engine that sits behind the occupants. But as well as being able to be driven a combination of combustion and electricity, this PHEV Ferrari can naturally be driven on battery power alone - in which case it becomes a front-wheel drive, zero emissions vehicle. Which is pretty amusing. All of this gubbins does mean, though, that the SF90 is relatively heavy, at 1570kg (dry) with every lightweight option, for which you can figure it's nearly 1700kg at the kerb. And, well, it's quite a lot of money. The base price is £375,000, to which you can add £40,000 for the Assetto Fiorano package, and it doesn't end there.     • This is the new for 2021 Ferrari Portofino M, with M for Modificata, or, in English, Modified. Which is pretty straightforward, really. It's the revised, updated, facelifted, modified version of Ferrari's softest car, the Portofino, a sports car with a folding metal roof. The modifications are quite broad, and include a power hike to 612bhp, the fitment of an eight-, rather than seven-speed twin clutch gearbox, petrol particulate filters and revised design inside and outside. In the UK its price is from £175,360 but you can add to that pretty quickly with some options. It's a fast car, though, able to go from 0-62mph in just 3.45sec and on to a top speed of 199mph. Rivals? Cars, we think, like the Aston Martin DB11 Volante and Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet, or perhaps the Bentley Continental GT. Some of these will be more sporting, others more comfortable.   • FIRST LOOK: Mercedes-AMG One - 1063hp Hypercar With F1 Engine Is FINALLY Finished! | Top Gear
    • This is the really very final production version of the 1,000bhp+ Mercedes-AMG One. That’s right, on AMG’s 55th anniversary comes the long-awaited hyper-F1 car for the road. Not a figure of speech, but a fact, because the AMG One famously uses the 1.6-litre turbo hybrid V6 from Hamilton’s F1 car. Well, when Hamilton’s F1 car was fast. AMG worked closely with the F1 bods at Brixworth to build a turbocharged combustion engine with four electric motors: one on the turbo, another on the engine and two driving the front wheels, each able to spin up to 50,000rpm. The whipcrack quick V6 is mounted in the middle, and revs to 11,000rpm – a little shy of Murray’s T.50 and the Aston Martin Valkyrie, but still. Eleven thousand. More F1 tech arrives in the shape of the MGU-K, which harvests surplus exhaust gas energy and stores it in the battery or feeds it straight into the electrified front axle. With everything singing together – MGU-K, MGU-H, front axle motors and engine – the whole thing punches out 1,048bhp. Hilariously, AMG can’t tell us the torque figure because of the “complex drivetrain”. That’s right, the One is too complex for human minds. Estimated performance figures are as follows: 0-62mph in 2.9s, 0-124mph in 7.0s, 0-186mph in 15.6s and a top speed of 219mph. On the other end of the scale, it’s capable of just over 11 miles on battery power alone, while combined emissions stand at 198g/km. And how does this 1,695kg monster look? ‘Muscular’ is how AMG describes it, and there’s no denying its presence. Low, wide with a ‘wasp’ waist designed for optimum aero efficiency, it’s said to generate downforce from as little as 31mph. Which should make the drive to your weekly shop very entertaining. It’s been a long time coming, but has the wait been worth it?     • This sharp looking 1965 Cadillac Eldorado is for sale in our Louisville showroom. The Cadillac Series 62 Eldorado joined the Oldsmobile 98 Fiesta and Buick Roadmaster Skylark as top-of-the-line, limited-production specialty convertibles introduced in 1953 by General Motors to promote its design leadership. For 1965 the Eldorado became a Fleetwood sub-series, although there was strictly speaking no separate Fleetwood series at this time. It was consequently marketed as the Cadillac Fleetwood Eldorado, in a similar fashion to the Cadillac Fleetwood Series 75 and the Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special. This was the last generation to be installed with rear wheel drive. This pristine example still has the original 429 V8 engine and Automatic transmission. The owner states this Cadillac only has 58207 miles on it and explains why it is in such good condition and the fact that it had an owner that kept it up. A quick peek under the hood finds everything as it should be, and just reinforces that this is truly a low mileage Cadillac. The factory color “Copper” is a color you didn’t see every day in 1965 and looks to be in very good condition. The white interior with a white top really complements the Copper paint. The carpet is the same color as the paint which is a good thing, as white carpet would have been a bit too much. Pop the trunk, it is just as clean as the rest of the Cadillac, but there is a nice little surprise. A set of sub woofers have been added to put a little extra thump in your tones, while you cruise the boulevard.
