All Chryslers (as well as large Plymouth and Dodges) were now built on an all-new C-body unibody platform which featured a bolt-on, rubber-isolated front sub frame. Elwood Engel designed the '65 New Yorker (and all Chrysler models) with styling cues from his 1961 Lincoln Continental — square side view with chrome trim along the top edges of the fenders. The options were: a 413 CID V8, dual pipe exhaust and power options (A/C, windows, antenna and steering). The engine itself put out 375 hp (280 kW) and was phased out for the 440 Firepower next model year. The styling began to share some visual similarities with the premium luxury sedan Imperial which received an all-new appearance in 1964. Factory options for 1965 included a 350 hp 413 ci Firepower engine, vinyl rear roof pillar insert, Saginaw-sourced Tilt 'N Telescopic steering wheel and standard power options. For 1965, the 4-door sedan used the six-window Town Sedan style which also used by the 1965 Chrysler Newport and Dodge Custom 880. The two-door hardtop was now sold in the U.S. Wheelbase of New Yorker models, except the wagon, was 124 in (3,100 mm). The Town & Country wagon was on the Dodge's 121 in (3,100 mm) wheelbase as all C body wagons shared the same basic body. Die siebente New Yorker Generation wurde 1964 eingeführt. Hierbei wurde der New Yorker auf ein Chassis mit einem um 5 cm längeren Radstand von nun 315 cm gestellt. Die Karosserieform war von Elwood Engel vollständig neu und auch wieder sehr kantig gestaltet worden. Im Programm waren erneut ein Hardtop-Coupé, eine B-Säulen- und eine Hardtop-Limousine sowie ein Kombi, die Salon-Version entfiel. Die Motoren wurde unverändert vom Vorgänger übernommen. 1966 entfiel der New Yorker Town & Country-Kombi. Den 6,8-Liter ersetzte ein neuer 7,2-Liter-V8-Motor, dessen Leistung mit 350 PS (257 kW) angegeben wurde. 1967 erfolgten die üblichen Detailänderungen am Kühlergrill, an den Leuchten und beim Chromzierat. 1968 wurde das Design des Kühlergrill erneut geändert und erhielt eine vorne spitz zulaufende V-Form. Vom zweiten „Engel“-New-Yorker fertigte Chrysler in vier Jahren 185.000 Exemplare.

His Swedish hypercar company currently builds the Jesko (which has just set the 0-400km/h-0 record) and it’ll soon start delivering the new CC850 and Gemera to customers. That’s three distinct models, each with their own head-scratchingly complex innovations. And yet, amongst all this, he said “yes” to a request from a customer who wanted their older-model Agera RS melded with the best bits of a Jesko and CC850 to create an absolute one-off. Many engineering headaches later we have this, the Chimera, which blends an Agera RS with the 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine from a Jesko and the fiendishly complex manual-cum-automatic gearbox from the CC850.     • Check out the new Lamborghini SC20! It's a one-off V12 Barchetta inspired by the Aventador J and Veneno, based on the Avendator SVJ with a 770hp NA V12 and no roof or windsheild. Centro Stile and Squadra Corse have collaborated to create something crazy so let's check it out! Following on from the SC18 Alston two years ago, the motorsports and design divisions within Lamborghini have worked together on this customer commission project of a 2 seat V12 barchetta. The bodyshape is proving a popular format at the moment with the Ferrari Monza, McLaren Elva, Aston Martin V12 Speedster and even my fellow YouTubers, Daily Driven Exotics creating their Aperta based on the Lamborghini Huracan EVO RWD. The 6.5l V12 produces 770hp and 720Nm, with the 7spd ISR automated manual gearbox feeding power to all 4 wheels. One can be sure with that level of power, and reduced weight, it would make for quite the driving experience! Taking a first look in Bugatti's secret workshop, alongside the legendary Type 35, sits the brand new Bolide - the name meaning a rocket of a racecar. The car is inspired by Bugatti's racing history and has been engineered for the ultimate in performance for a track only car, to the level of Formula 1 or LMP1. The engine is the next generation of the 8.0l quad turbo W16 with 1,850hp, 1,850Nm and thanks to the exceptionally light weight that claims to be a mere 1,240kg, it's therefore capable of boasting the most insane acceleration figures. 0-100km/h in 2.2s, 0-200km/h in 4.4s, 0-300km/h in 7.4s, 0-400km/h in 12.1s and 0-500km/h in only 20.1s... that takes some time to actually interpret. Visually it's exceptionally dramatic with negative space in the bodywork, shrink wrapped to the engine and tub, with the x-shapes for the layout of the rear, a shark fin and gigantic spoiler. Naturally all components are as light as possible, from exceptionally thin carbon panels to 3d printed titanium used everywhere possible for the ultimate power to weight ratio. The engine itself features a new configuration including the turbos set up for maximum power rather than the traditional stage configuration. The cars control very nice since it's a mix of sim-cade. Cool graphics effects such as the tailights reflection on the wet road are present! And the car models are well made considering it's a game released in 2000! This was and still is a magnificent NFS title! The game had much attention from the developers. Beautiful tracks, cool looking cars, interior camera with decent interior design for all Porsche cars. Even the sound is fantastic! everything sounds as it should sound. Then you can hear the gear shift, every small rubble when you pass over it, different engine sound for every camera mode! Gotta love those interior sounds! calm and nice hearing the engine roar from the luxurious inside of a Porsche. The sound design is truly great. Way ahead of it's time IMO. A great NFS title!
