It my accountant and good friends car that he just bought recently. It is a fully resotred custom 1959 Chevrolet Bel Air. This car is sweet. It has the 350 engine out of a newer chevy truck that is turned up to a 383. All new suspension so the underneath looks like its new. New paint and nice chrome wheels. The interior was completely redone and looks and smells like new. The car was completely restored from top to bottom and is about as nice as it gets.     • 1) The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8 is a front engine, all wheel drive car that was made from 2003-2005. 2) It is powered by a turbocharged 2 liter inline 4 cylinder 4G63 engine. Producing 271hp and 286tq. 3) All evo 8’s came a with manual transmissions, no automatics were available. 4) The 05 evo came with a slightly larger turbo than the 03 and 04 models. (10.5T vs 9.8) The 05 evo also had an Active Center Differential (ACD), while the 03 and 04’s did not. 5) 3 evo 8 trims were available. The base trim commonly known as the GSR. The lightweight trim known as the RS, and the touring trim known as the MR. In 2003, only the base model evo was available. In 2004, the RS trim was added in addition to the the GSR trim. and the 2005 model year feature all three trim levels. 6) The RS trim did everything in the way of weight saving. This means manual windows and locks, no radio, no sound deadening, no ABS, and no rear wing. Also, all RS models had an aluminum roof, front limited slip differential, and black door handles. 7) MR trims can be identified by a 6 speed transmission, aluminum roof, BBS wheels, accessory gauges, bilstein shocks, and a vortex generator. 8) The Sun Sound and Leather package or “SSL” was all an option that started in 2004. SSL packages included the addition of a power sunroof, trunk mounted subwoofer, and leather seats. 9) the 03 and 04 models came with an intercooler sprayer. This option was considered useless by most evo owners. 10) All 03 evo 8’s came with HID headlights. 04 & 05 GSR trims did not have HID's unless you got the SSL package. No RS trim evo's came with HID's. GSR -5-speed, standard model RS - rallisport, 5-speed, aluminum roof, gauge pack, minimal interior SE - Special Edition, 5-speed, aluminum roof/hood, and front fenders, split seven-spoke forged aluminum BBS wheels in "diamond black" finish, HID headlights with integrated fog lights, red-stitched Recaro seats (ONLY EVO 9’s had SE) MR - 6-speed, Bilstein monotube shocks, split seven-spoke forged aluminum BBS wheels, aluminum roof, hood, and front fenders, gauge pack, HID headlights with integrated fog lights, vortex generator, and custom MR badging. When I was originally shopping for a car with the V12 some XJ coupes and e types made the list and those were available with carbs. The wording in the engine section about choosing the XJS based on FI may seem confusing and poorly worded. I just wanted to clarify.** The Jaguar XJS was out of favour amongst enthusiasts and collectors for the last decade and a half but I think now is the time to grab one of these time capsules of a bygone era before they are too pricey to consider. Their Bahrain JCW X-raid team-mates, Stéphane Peterhansel (FRA) and Paulo Fiuza (POR), currently lie third overall. Argentineans Orlando “Orly” Terranova and Bernardo “Ronnie” Graue enter week two in fifth place overall, having led the rally at one point. Saudi driver Yasir Seaidan and his Russian co-driver Alexey Kuzmich ended the first half of the race in ninth place. Vaidotas Zala and Saulius Jurgelenas produced the greatest surprise so far at the very start of the event: The Lithuanian pair won the very first leg of the Dakar on Saudi soil in their MINI John Cooper Works Rally. They are currently 19th overall.
