The GT5 also benefitted from 18″ bare aluminium polished wheels, quad exhaust pipes, rear boot-lid wing, improved braking system and a more luxurious interior. The ‘S’ in the GT5-S name stands for “steel”, the car features a single piece of flared steel fenders instead of the GT5’s riveted-on fibreglass flares, and a smaller steel front air dam. The majority of Gallardo's are AWD vehicles but by making the LP 550-2 a rear wheel drive car, Lamborghini has created an exotic that is more exciting to drive. By moving the transmission to the back of the vehicle, many other driving dynamics had to be altered including the suspension and aerodynamics. The result is an ultra precise supercar that combines sportiness with top down wind in your hair enjoyment. The Gallardo model first appeared in 2004 and since that time many special editions have come and gone. The 2012 Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2 Spyder is powered by a high performance 5.2 liter V-10 engine that produces 550 horsepower and 397 lb-ft. of torque. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH only takes 3.9 seconds and the Gallardo LP 550-2 has a top speed of 199 MPH. The transmission is a 6-speed sequential automatic with manual paddle shifters. The brakes are huge 14-inch units front and back. The frame of the Gallardo is made from aluminum which helps to keep the weight of the vehicle down to a little over 3,000 lbs. Fuel economy checks in at 13 MPG in the cit and 20 MPG on the highway. What's it like to drive the 2012 Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2 Spyder? It's a mixture of extremes; there are extreme levels of handling, power, noise, braking, and more. But the Gallardo is still surprisingly easy to drive as normal speeds. The transmission can be set to Corsica which induces fast hard shift or you can set the transmission to regular automatic which gives you easy shifts. The 2012 Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2 Spyder costs over $250k but for that price you are getting a very capable car. The 2012 Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2 Spyder is an exotic supercar you could take to work everyday. The Amount of fun you can have in the exotic car is directly proportional to the price. Yes it is expensive but the Gallardo LP 550-2 Spyder is an awesome performing supercar. It is European specification and thus has the advantage of its European spec headlamps which are widely considered more attractive than the sealed-beam units used on U.S. delivery 300 SL’s. This 300 SL Roadster was originally delivered in White-Grey with Green leather interior and a green soft top. This 300 SL Roadster is an older cosmetic restoration. It shows an honest patina throughout with no previous accident damage. The interior also shows a slight and honest patina throughout. The engine runs well, the gearbox and clutch work well, this 300 SL Roadster was previously part of a large collection of automobiles and maintained by the collections in-house mechanics. The engine is stamped with the proper engine number but is missing the original number plate, the serial number plate on the firewall has been confirmed original, as is the chassis number stamping and plate. All has been confirmed by the factory data card and correspondence with Mercedes Benz Classic Center. Currently missing its convertible top, top bow and convertible top metal tonneau cover. This 300 SL can be used as is and with hard top fitted. If removed, it might as well be a non-factory 300 SL California convertible. Should you require a convertible top, the above items will need to be sourced or fabricated. This is a wonderful “driver” 300 SL Roadster that has taken part in several vintage rally’s in the past. Alternatively, this is a wonderful opportunity to purchase a 1957 Mille Miglia eligible 300 SL Roadster that is numbers matching for restoration back to its original color combination.

Delivered in December of 1965 to Belgian market dealer, Garage Francorchamps. The first owner is recorded simply as, “Desy”, then in 1967 the car was purchased by American Ferrari importer “Coco” Chinetti. Chinetti and commissioned famous commercial designer Bob Peak to design a one-off Shooting Brake concept, and with designs prepared, they chose Vignale to undertake the transformation of the 330 GT. Alfredo Vignale was to create the second Ferrari ever to wear Shooting Brake coachwork and the project became the Patron’s last project before his untimely death in 1969. Vignale launched the uniquely styled 330 at the 1968 Turin Motor Show, where the car was an astounding spectacle, revered for its distinctive lines and outlandish coachwork. Thereafter, the Shooting Brake was returned to Connecticut, where Chinetti enjoyed many years of motoring and where it was a regular on the Greenwich and Palm Beach society scene. The car appeared in Philadelphia in 1977, then to Paris in 1979 to Mr. Jean Claude “Patch” Paturau, and most recently on to the U.K. under celebrity ownership, where it was restored and repainted to its current livery. The 330GT is eligible for numerous specialty events, concours and otherwise around the world. It has been shown in the past at many and will once again be a welcomed addition in the future due to its rarity and coachbuilt style. There is a large amount of supporting documentation that accompanies the car, including a large binder with detailed maintenance history, factory tool roll and jack. This is a one-off, numbers matching Ferrari with incredible ownership history and well documented provenance. It represents among the rarest of opportunities and is arguably one of the best European-American design collaborations in Ferrari’s long and illustrious history.

Like the standard 348, the Speciale was powered by the Tipo F119 3.4-liter DOHC 32-valve V8, however this low-production version received a number of special additions for a considerable increase in performance over the standard 348. The engine was tuned via new engine management and fitted with a free-flowing exhaust system, coupled with a shorter final drive ratio, which yielded 312 horsepower. F40-inspired design cues in the form of new bumpers, side skirts, and a rear track widened by 50mm and unique details further separated the SS from the standard 348, including revised front and rear grilles finished with chrome Cavallino Rampante emblems, model specific taillights, and a distinctive new interior. Each 348 Series Speciale was designated by a production number plate. This 1993 Ferrari 348 Speciale is number 84 of 100 built, and one of only 65 Targa (TS) models made. The car is in excellent condition throughout and has traveled only 12,000 miles. This 348 TS is an all original, low mileage example, first delivered in June of 1994 to S. Wu. of Long Island, NY. In May of 1998, ownership was transferred to M. Lasala of Westchester, NY. Finally in 2000, ownership was transferred to it most recent custodian, a resident of East Hampton, NY. At the time it had just under 7,000 miles. During this ownership the 348 was Ferrari franchise serviced on a annual basis, including a major service in 2005, 2012 and again in 2016, then showing just 12,500 miles. This 348 is accompanied by all factory issued books, manuals, Schedoni leather tool case and document pouch, factory targa top cover and pouch, and service records dating to 2000 – it is in excellent condition throughout and ready for immediate driving pleasure.

  • PSX Longplay [391] Road and Track Presents: The Need for Speed
    • http://www.longplays.org Played by: MadMatty Playstation port of The Need for Speed released along with the Saturn version in 1996. Being released long after the original 3DO version and the updated PC version you would think that anything wrong or criticised in those versions would have been fixed here. In fact non of that happened and here we have a poor port which looks considerably worse than the other versions but it is also incredibly difficult to play as well. It seems like the game was not play tested and balanced before rit was released and its only through the use of save states that I have made it through the game at all. I play through the Tournament mode which consist of 6 tracks, unlocking a 7th on completion of those 6. This mode is bloody difficult, near impossible in fact. Just one mistake and you may as well restart or rage quit. The AI cars blatantly cheat by going faster then the car is capable of, blasting round corners without breaking and no negative effect of scraping on the road sides. Sometimes is not always clear where the road side is as sometimes just hitting some gravel is enough to cause a collision and other times it will let you go over the grass. This mode is no fun at all. Autumn took me a few days to crack it as just losing some speed on one corner is enough to cost you the race as you will never catch up to the car in 1st. Unfortunately you absolutely need to place 1st on every track to complete the tournament. After completing the tournament (6 initial tracks), Rally mode is unlocked. In single race or head to head mode you can now go round 6 of the tracks with rally car handing causing you to slide around a lot more. Also the warrior car is unlocked for single race/head to head mode. This is a super car I will show later in the video. Of course it doesn't tell you that you have unlocked it. You have to press a button combo when selecting a car (L1+R1) in order to use it. Oasis Springs is also unlocked which gives rally handling in a dessert which is just a re-skin of Rusty Springs. As I was having so much fun with the game ..... I went through tournament mode again, showing different cars where I can and on completing this, Lunar Springs is unlocked (L1+R1+Triangle) which re-skins Rusty Springs level as low gravity race on the moon. Yeah the game feels so rewarding, it still doesn't tell you about the special codes after you unlock them. After tournament mode is completed, its time to have some fun finally. I show off both the unlocked lunar and oasis tracks in a head to head race and then I show off a Head to head in the warrior car on the city track. Now the game is populated with traffic making it more fun and the ai cars can crash as well. You can even get into a police chase of sorts. If I was to just casually play this game it would be in this mode and seems to be where the most fun is to be had. Once I'm done I show the games credits video. The last half hour of this video is just going through the Showroom information for all the cars. It takes a while. Did this game do anything right? Introducing car physics long before games like Gran Turismo hit the scene was interesting, but the way the cars controlled just made the game a constant battle when the ai cars never have to worry about handling,speed or grip. The game kinda feels/looks more Arcady than the other versions no doubt do to the influence of the ridge racer games already on the ps1 which now I think about it, could also be fiendishly difficult at times. The cockpit view also works well and helps with immersion and with the cops and the traffic it feels like this game could have been part of the test drive series. 00:00:00 - Intro and demo video. 00:03:05 - Start of Tournament - Play through of 6 tracks.     • http://www.special-cars-berlin.de/ Ein sehr schöner und solider Chrysler Newport Custom mit echter Patina und vermutlich Originallack mit einem V8 383 Big Block Motor, der durch seine schöne Coupé-Form besticht. Der Wagen hat Servolenkung, Bremskraftverstärker und eine Klimaanlage (noch nicht getestet ob sie noch funktioniert). In Kalifornien wurde der Wagen noch regelmäßig bewegt und gewartet. U.A. hatte der letzte Eigentümer noch der Hauptbremszylinder mit Bremskraftverstärker, die hinteren Bremsbeläge und Radbremszylinder erneuert. Neue Buchsen in oberen und unteren Querlenker verbaut und v.m. Das Differential bekam neue Lager und wurde schon einmal überholt. Auch wurden Küchenschläuche bereits ersetzt, neu Zündkabel und andere kleine Neuteile verbaut. Die Reifen sind noch fast neu und haben noch etwas blaue Farbe, die leicht entfernt werden kann auf den Weißwandstreifen. Das Vinyldach hat ein paar wenige Rostblasen im hinteren Bereich als auch unterhalb der Heckscheibe sind ein paar Roststellen, die gemacht werden müssen. An der rechten hinteren Ecke ist ein kleiner Schaden, den man reparieren kann oder aber die Ecke komplett tauscht. Von Innen benötigt der Wagen ein Komplettreinigung und das ein oder andere teil sollte erneuert werden. Hier können wir mit unserem Sattler aushelfen. Ein neues Dashpad gehört noch dazu.

The Montreal was produced from 1970-1977, designed by Marcello Gandini for Studio Bertone. Gandini had previously designed the Lamborghini Miura, and some crossover styling details are apparent both from outside, and especially under the drivers seat. Under the clamshell hood is a fuel-injected, four-cam 2.6L V8 making a supposed 200 horsepower, but we suspect actually it produces quite a bit more, along with one of the most fantastic engine notes we've ever heard and a stratospheric-for-the-time 7,000 RPM redline. By the end of its run,, the Montreal cost more than a Porsche 911 Turbo or Citroen SM. Fewer than 4,000 total examples of the Montreal were built, and towards the end of the run, Alfa Romeo had trouble selling the last of them. Today they are incredibly collectible, and on the retail market, this example would fetch between $125,000 and $150,000.     • I filmed this brutal SRT-10 ACR-X- the last edition of the Viper until the new model debuts- at Road Atlanta during the 2011 Petit Le Mans race weekend. I was also lucky enough to be able to sit in this big V10-powered brute! I can only imagine how it would feel to pilot this machine around the track, tightly enclosed by the roll cage and cocoon-like racing seat... I left the camcorder in the car when I exited the vehicle; you can see how I had to practically climb out and over the roll cage! Hope you enjoy these shots! :)

    • I finally enjoyed seeing the new 2024 Ford Mustang GT3 in action during a Kateyama test day at the Misano Adriatico circuit. The car belongs to the Italian Dinamic GT team, and the plan is to use it in the 2024 GT World Challenge Europe season. For Ford Performance, this is the second team, after the Proton Competition (team for the FIA World Endurance Championship in the LMGT3 class), to use the cars created from the collaboration with Multimatic and M-Sport. Based on the 2024 Mustang Dark Horse road model, it adopts a modified 5.4-litre naturally aspirated Coyote V8 engine moved by a rear-mounted transaxle gearbox, a six-speed sequential Xtrac. We also find carbon fibre body panels and a robust aerodynamic package. Huge thanks to 2ManyCars Official for the opportunity: https://www.instagram.com/2manycars_official/ About the Ferrari F430 Scuderia Spider 16M (from Girardo & Co): The F430’s spectacular swansong, the Scuderia Spider 16M was Ferrari’s way of celebrating its Formula 1 constructors’ title victory in 2008, its 16th in total – a record that remains unbroken. A drop-top version of the hardcore Scuderia it may be, but there are several crucial differences that secure its rung far higher on the desirability ladder for collectors. Perhaps most importantly, Ferrari built just 499 16Ms, making it as rare as the LaFerrari. The suspension and carbon-ceramic braking systems were improved, the latter of which is especially important given how shockingly quickly the 503bhp V8 propels the 16M down the road. About the 458 Speciale Aperta (from Bell Sport & Classic): Production of the Ferrari 458 Speciale Aperta for sale was limited to 499 cars, with only 49 RHD cars being produced. They are the swan song for the naturally aspirated 4.5L V8, reving out at 9,000 rpm, which unlocks 597 hp and 398 lb-ft of torque. Virtually identical to its closed sibling, the Speciale Aperta only tips the scales at 110 lb heavier than the coupe. This is thanks to the extensive use of carbon fibre throughout the car. Furthermore, its aluminium retractable hardtop takes only 14 seconds to deploy or retract at the push of a button. Performance remains largely the same thanks to the car’s active aerodynamics, and it can sprint from 0–62 mph in three seconds and has a top speed of a tick below 200 mph.   • $1.2m Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign on Track! | FIRST DRIVE
    • I had a truly special opportunity to drive the Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign! With a price tag of €1m plus taxes (or approx $1.2m) it's a celebration for the 50th anniversaries of both GT-R and Italdesign with a totally new look formed on a Nismo GT-R. With very few outings to date, this is a really exclusive opportunity to get a feel for what it's like. The GT-R50 by Italdesign has an entirely new body wrapped over the latest generation of Nismo GT-R. It sits 54mm lower and as such as a very sleep appearance, with significantly more attractive bodywork than found on the regular GT-R models. In terms of performance it has a 3.8l TT V6 but now runs 710hp/780nm instead of the stock 600hp/652nm, with a reinforced gearbox, diff and driveshafts with improved Bilstein suspension and Brembo brakes too. During my visit to Dubai, I was invited to head to the Dubai Autodrome to take part in an experience with the car out on track alongside perspective customers, giving me a very rare opportunity to present the GT-R50 to you on video. This one was sold for the incredible price of 1.4 Milion Euros, the lucky owner gave us the permission to take some footages, so we took the car out of the Lamborghini Milan dealer for a photoshoot, some revving scenes and a few little accelerations. One of the most things i like in this car is the digital instrumentation, it looks so brutal as a jet fighter! This is for sure the sickest Lambo i have ever seen, in my opinion the Roadster version looks much better than the Coupè. Special thanks to my friend Floriano and to the owner of this breathtaking Lamborghini. The engine of the Roadster version is taken from the Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 Superveloce, giving to the car 670hp and a top speed of 205mph. Music: Kevin Macleod - Darkness is coming
