I was instantly drawn to the Vanda Dendrobium D1, a 200mph electric car, which was on display along with a 1:18 scale model. The Dendrobium is the world's first fully electric hypercar and the first performance car developed by a Singaporean company. When it first appeared in 1997 at the Tokyo Motor Show, the BMW Z8 was clearly inspired by the legendary BMW 507. Heart-melting design from Chief Designer Chris Bangle and his team, combined nostalgia with state-of-the-art technology and the aluminium spaceframe penned by Henrik Fisker.   • Porsche 991.2 GT3 R (GT3 Class) w/ Unmuffled Exhaust: Pure 4.0 N/A Flat-6 Sound!
    • I think I've never explicitly said it but unconsciously there has always been a small desire to be able to hear one of the GT3-class Porsches with a fully unmuffled exhaust. The opportunity happened last weekend at Mugello Circuit during the 2021 12h of Mugello race organized by Creventic as the first of two Italian rounds of their 24h Series. Typically the upgraded 991 Mk2 (991.2) version of the "R" comes with a visible muffler on the rear of the car, but despite that it still manages to be one of the most melodic sounding cars in the GT3 class and it's also loud enough for my liking. But thanks to Herberth Motorsport team, one of their 991.2 GT3s was fitted with that straight exhaust during the whole racing weekend. And it sounds ridiculous compared to the already loud standard R's. Of course in this form the 4.0-litre naturally-aspirated flat-6 engine could only have echoes of the beloved GTE-class 991 RSR 2017. But even if sometimes tones and notes are exactly the same, the RSR still keeps the ''loudest race car'' trophy among them. Two little things I need to explain to avoid some 'wtf moments', kinda of: 1) The Herberth's Porsches featuring the unmuffled exhaust is always just one on track, but there are two different ones in this video (in particular starting from the second half, when the 'Pit In / Pit Exit' chapter starts at around 8 minutes mark). Herberth Motorsport fielded two 991 GT3s, number 91 with red LED running lights and number 92 with yellow LEDs. During the official part of the event (Friday's free practices, qualifying and Saturday's race) number 91 was fitted with the straight piped exhaust while 92 with the 'OEM' muffled one, as you can see from the very beginning of the video. But in the second half of the video you can also see clips of the 92 with the unmuffled exhaust. That's because during Thursday's unofficial tests Herberth Motorsport mounted this exhaust on the 92 for the morning part of the tests. I managed to get some good clean scenes so it seemed logical to me to use them. 2) Why the cold start up on the grid an not in the garage before the outlap. I've only attended just two of Creventic's racing weekends and both were at Mugello (2019 and 2021) and in the exact same period of the year (late March), but I saw from their live streams that sometimes the format of other championship's rounds is the same. Basically the 12 hours competition is divided into two parts: a first 4 hours on Friday and the remaining 8 on Saturday. At the end of the first part, cars are parked in order of classifications on the grid (in this way split times of competitors in the same lap are 'technically' deleted but lapped cars remains lapped of the same number of laps when the first part of the race ended). The grid becomes a sort of closed park and the cars remain there for the night. 45 minutes before the start of the second part, the 'closed park' status ends and mechanics can go to their cars to do a very limited number of things such as warming up the engine, cleaning the windshield and check if there aren't any dangerous moving parts or broken pieces. Such a shame I didn't manage to do do many of my typical endless sound scenes since track was really packed therefore other cars often arrived in the clip when I was still trying to record the GT3 R echoing in the distance. But as you can hear, the car was the loudest on track.   • BMW 230i Coupe Review
    • I recently spent about a week and a half with the BMW 230i Coupe, and during that time I really got the chance to know the 230i and I came away happier with the little four-cylinder version of the 2 Series than with the full-on M240i variant. Why? Because it brings BMW back to basics. Or at least as much as possible. The BMW 230i Coupe is the entry-level 2 Series in the United States, packing a 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. It makes a healthy 255 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque which is plenty for the little 2 Series. It packs nowhere near the grunt of the M240i’s B58 turbocharged straight-six, nor does it make anywhere near as good a noise, but the little four-pot “B48” is a little firecracker of a motor. All of its power is in the low-to-mid rev-range, which makes it super accessible, and it’s paired–as always–perfectly with the eight-speed ZF automatic. Would I prefer a manual?   • My First Drive in the EPIC Pagani Zonda Cinque!
    • I never thought I'd find myself driving a Pagani Zonda Cinque, let alone chasing another Zonda Cinque while both cars are spitting out endless fireballs! Thanks to @dan_am_i a dream has become reality as we take the two cars for a drive to get a full experience for what this unbelievable car is all about. The Pagani Zonda Cinque is a poster car, an icon, a rare and limited machine of which only 5 Coupes and 5 Roadsters were ever built, 2 of which are sat side by side in @Dan_am_i's garage alongside the even rarer 1-of-3 Zonda Tricolore. Of each body style, only 2 cars were painted in unique colour schemes and to see these together is just truly stunning but that's just the start. With an initial plan to take the Cinque Roadster out on a run to dinner, it evolves to include the Cinque Coupe as well. We are talking two cars with near on 700hp of naturally aspirated V12s which thanks to a 6 speed automated manual means for epic fire balls to be spat out of the exhausts on each shift. Matched up to the scoop overhead sucking in the air and the wail of the V12 as the revs build, the experience is absolutely out of this world. Many special iterations and versions of the Zonda have arrived over the years since the initial introduction but the Cinque was intended to be the last at the time it launched. As such it was the first truly limited special edition and will hold a special place in the hearts of many for all of time. I can say with absolute certainty that it has grabbed me and having never been the biggest fan of the Zonda, I am now truly smitten.   • Lamborghini Reventón Roadster Start, Rev and Accelerate
    • I have filmed one of the most expensive, faster and exclusive Lamborghini ever.. a matte light grey Lamborghini Reventon Roadster, one of the 15 made, the only one sold in Italy. In the Roadster version there isn't the badge to show exactly the number of the car, theres just the total of production. This one was sold for the incredible price of 1.4 Milion Euros, the lucky owner gave us the permission to take some footages, so we took the car out of the Lamborghini Milan dealer for a photoshoot, some revving scenes and a few little accelerations. One of the most things i like in this car is the digital instrumentation, it looks so brutal as a jet fighter! This is for sure the sickest Lambo i have ever seen, in my opinion the Roadster version looks much better than the Coupè. Special thanks to my friend Floriano and to the owner of this breathtaking Lamborghini. The engine of the Roadster version is taken from the Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 Superveloce, giving to the car 670hp and a top speed of 205mph. Music: Kevin Macleod - Darkness is coming

  • $1.2m Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign on Track! | FIRST DRIVE
    • I had a truly special opportunity to drive the Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign! With a price tag of €1m plus taxes (or approx $1.2m) it's a celebration for the 50th anniversaries of both GT-R and Italdesign with a totally new look formed on a Nismo GT-R. With very few outings to date, this is a really exclusive opportunity to get a feel for what it's like. The GT-R50 by Italdesign has an entirely new body wrapped over the latest generation of Nismo GT-R. It sits 54mm lower and as such as a very sleep appearance, with significantly more attractive bodywork than found on the regular GT-R models. In terms of performance it has a 3.8l TT V6 but now runs 710hp/780nm instead of the stock 600hp/652nm, with a reinforced gearbox, diff and driveshafts with improved Bilstein suspension and Brembo brakes too. During my visit to Dubai, I was invited to head to the Dubai Autodrome to take part in an experience with the car out on track alongside perspective customers, giving me a very rare opportunity to present the GT-R50 to you on video. Huge thanks to 2ManyCars Official for the opportunity: https://www.instagram.com/2manycars_official/ About the Ferrari F430 Scuderia Spider 16M (from Girardo & Co): The F430’s spectacular swansong, the Scuderia Spider 16M was Ferrari’s way of celebrating its Formula 1 constructors’ title victory in 2008, its 16th in total – a record that remains unbroken. A drop-top version of the hardcore Scuderia it may be, but there are several crucial differences that secure its rung far higher on the desirability ladder for collectors. Perhaps most importantly, Ferrari built just 499 16Ms, making it as rare as the LaFerrari. The suspension and carbon-ceramic braking systems were improved, the latter of which is especially important given how shockingly quickly the 503bhp V8 propels the 16M down the road. About the 458 Speciale Aperta (from Bell Sport & Classic): Production of the Ferrari 458 Speciale Aperta for sale was limited to 499 cars, with only 49 RHD cars being produced. They are the swan song for the naturally aspirated 4.5L V8, reving out at 9,000 rpm, which unlocks 597 hp and 398 lb-ft of torque. Virtually identical to its closed sibling, the Speciale Aperta only tips the scales at 110 lb heavier than the coupe. This is thanks to the extensive use of carbon fibre throughout the car. Furthermore, its aluminium retractable hardtop takes only 14 seconds to deploy or retract at the push of a button. Performance remains largely the same thanks to the car’s active aerodynamics, and it can sprint from 0–62 mph in three seconds and has a top speed of a tick below 200 mph.     • I finally enjoyed seeing the new 2024 Ford Mustang GT3 in action during a Kateyama test day at the Misano Adriatico circuit. The car belongs to the Italian Dinamic GT team, and the plan is to use it in the 2024 GT World Challenge Europe season. For Ford Performance, this is the second team, after the Proton Competition (team for the FIA World Endurance Championship in the LMGT3 class), to use the cars created from the collaboration with Multimatic and M-Sport. Based on the 2024 Mustang Dark Horse road model, it adopts a modified 5.4-litre naturally aspirated Coyote V8 engine moved by a rear-mounted transaxle gearbox, a six-speed sequential Xtrac. We also find carbon fibre body panels and a robust aerodynamic package.     • I filmed this brutal SRT-10 ACR-X- the last edition of the Viper until the new model debuts- at Road Atlanta during the 2011 Petit Le Mans race weekend. I was also lucky enough to be able to sit in this big V10-powered brute! I can only imagine how it would feel to pilot this machine around the track, tightly enclosed by the roll cage and cocoon-like racing seat... I left the camcorder in the car when I exited the vehicle; you can see how I had to practically climb out and over the roll cage! Hope you enjoy these shots! :)

The Montreal was produced from 1970-1977, designed by Marcello Gandini for Studio Bertone. Gandini had previously designed the Lamborghini Miura, and some crossover styling details are apparent both from outside, and especially under the drivers seat. Under the clamshell hood is a fuel-injected, four-cam 2.6L V8 making a supposed 200 horsepower, but we suspect actually it produces quite a bit more, along with one of the most fantastic engine notes we've ever heard and a stratospheric-for-the-time 7,000 RPM redline. By the end of its run,, the Montreal cost more than a Porsche 911 Turbo or Citroen SM. Fewer than 4,000 total examples of the Montreal were built, and towards the end of the run, Alfa Romeo had trouble selling the last of them. Today they are incredibly collectible, and on the retail market, this example would fetch between $125,000 and $150,000.
